Eddie George, Simply the best
I think he was hurrying so as to not miss out on the post game "celebration."

Crean is a total douchenozzle, but to me this is much ado about nothing. I don't need to see a warm embrace and some light petting. We won, shake hands, however quickly it may be, and get to the bus. Who cares. The snubs I have a problem with. I specifically watched to see if there was a handshake, too. It met my requirements.
I thought the ESPN announcers gave a ton of praise to OSU and Matta. Dakich was extremely complementary of Craft and Scott. Not sure what game you were watching.
I think Crean was stunned. I am not condoning his lack of hand shake but numbness does affect immediate situations.
OSU was the much better team last night and showed it. IU is making a comeback and was hoping for a happy ending that didn't happen.
I thought Craft played the best game I have seen all year long. If he isn't the B1G defensive player of the year, I have a problem with that. OSU played their best game of the year. Great win.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder
I respect Coach Matta for continuing to treat Crean as if he is finally going to grow up, and for being surprised when Crean does not. That proves Matta is capable of seeing the good in everyone. On my list of favorite Big Ten coaches, Crean is 14th - and I do not know the name of the Rutgers coach.
Haha! You owe me a new computer screen. Just got Diet Mtn Dew all over it.
Seriously, Crean is a little crybaby. And I would use a stronger word if this wasn't a family-friendly site.
Light petting! Oh, you guys are on fi-yuh in this thread. Literally LOL.
I agree that I didn't think Crean did anything wrong with this particular handshake. Maybe because the one three years ago was so egregious that everything else pales in comparison.
Crean showed his true colors long ago. Everyone who has been paying attention to this jackwagon knows he's the little spoiled brat who takes his ball and runs home crying when things don't go his way.
Makes me even more proud to have Thad Matta as Ohio State's head coach. You never see him pull any classless, low-rent crap like that. He never embarrasses the program.
And have fun next year Indiana when you lose Oladipo, Zeller, Watford and Hulls. Ouch. This was supposed to be "their year." And to be honest, I'll still probably pick them to win the national title because I don't see a better overall team out there. But they are trending the wrong way for sure right now. Minnesota gave everyone the blueprint that the key to beating Indiana is to out-tough them; try and intimidate them physically. Ohio State completely out-toughed IU the other night.
is the biggest reason why the win was so satisfying....

I was talking, TexasBucknut, about the guys AFTER the game who they went to to discuss the game..... I am sorry I can't remember their names, but not the TV guys who did the game, they did complement OSU.....the other guys at half time were stunned that the Buckeyes had the lead and said something to the effect.....well ok, but watch for huge 2nd halfs from Odilipeo and Zeller....and the way they said it was that Indiana was going to storm back and more or less smother the Buckeyes.....at games end thy were again stunded and really did not know how to praise the Buckeyes,,,,,I don't think any of these ESPN "basketball experts" know how to take the Buckeyes......I think they now know that we can spoil some of their faviorite team parties in the NCAA!
Fair, I thought you were referring to Dakich et al. I thought OSU played their best game like a team that believes they can win the B1G and make some serious noise in the NCAA. IU played like a team that has lost its identity and expects to win without playing like they want to win.
Great job by Matta and the team! It will be interesting to see if IU rebounds or starts to circle the drain. OSU helped their seedings and IU may have cost themselves a no. 1 seed.
