Are hand shakes after a game meaningless? ... I really don't think society cares or needs to see the players shake hands or the coaches meet to shake hands after the game... there are too many hot heads and bad things that can happen.

It's about congratulating your opponent on a well played game. So to me it's not meaningless. JMO. If the players can go 40 minutes without killing someone on the other team, I would hope they can handle a handshake.
What I would like to see, just to get a reaction out of Crean, would be for Matta to just walk right by his ass on the post-game handshake as if he never saw him and shake the hand of every guy he sees after Crean. Or better yet, maybe give him a shoulder on the way by. Crean would end up in press row. He's like a dwarf compared to Thad. That would be funny.

I'm hoping Crean has the same short handshake when they play Michigan this weekend....after their loss.
