An OSU spokesman confirmed for The Dispatch that linebacker Connor Crowell and OL Joey O'Connor no longer will be with the team.

Ohio State says LB Connor Crowell (medical) and OL Joey O'Connor (transfer) have left football team
NICE!!! Good Luck guys.....2 more ships for Urb.....
Not too excited about losing O'Connor, had high hopes for him and could have been in the 2 deep next season
My your liqueur be cold, your women be hot, and all your problems slide off like snot.
Yep suddenly the need for munger became more dire that's for sure.
Man just got even more thin at two spots we didn't need too!
"NICE!!! Good Luck guys.....2 more ships for Urb....."
Ban this idiot asap.
Why the hell was O'Connor hosting Skipper?
I understand they're from the same state but jeesh, O'Connor didn't come to this decision today.
Sorry it didn't work out for them at OSU. Hope they land on their feet somewhere.
Would you rather have 2 players who'll never play whilst taking up 2 schollies, or them leaving and using 2 schollies for guys who will contribute?
And I shall rejoice in victory for another 365 days over That School Up North.
you always such a doucher?
Serious lapse in judgement by the staff.
Our quarterback does front flips, suck it.
How do you know they wouldn't play? They were RS Frosh. O'Connor was homesick (I believe I read this on a BH) and Crowell came in injured.

I take umbradge with this.
1) How do you know they wouldn't play. Especially O'Conner. You don't.
2) This isn't the damn NFL. If you can't see the distiction you are not vailid. It should be noted that both htese kids were fine students, I'm sure you don't care but it matters to me.
3) Are there APR impacts.
The only thing that makes this palitable is Crowell is a medical hardship and i read on here that O'Conner in addition to his initial surgery had micofracture surgery - if so he is trending towards a medical rs.

O'Connor leaving is not good.
Bummed for Crowell. Best of luck to them both whatever they do down the road.
It's sucks about O'Connor begin Skipper's host. However, your best play is to have an OOS kid hosted by someone from his town/area. (It gives both the parents and kid comfort that someone else travels that distance and gets along well.) I'm not sure who else we have on the roster from CO. Besides, we don't know what Joey said/did with Skipper...or even if he/staff knew he was very close to transferring before the visit.
