Offered by BAMA
Saban playing mind games with Urban....Thoughts anyone?
Who's Zead..Zeads dead baby.
I think its legit...Kief is a big time talent.
If Saban was playing mind games, he would have offered him as a Safety.
Kief is a big time prospect and I'm glad we were in on him early because he is getting ready to blow up on the national scene! Maybe Saban really wants the kid but maybe not and maybe he is only trying to force Urban to take Kief instead of some higher ranked guys that are high on Alabama board.. Purely speculation on my part but something just feels fishy with Bama offering..
I definitely think there are some mind games going on but that is not to say that some of these players might not well be worth offers. Of course Saban has the great advantage of never letting numbers get in the way of giving offers.
Be real. OSU has a ton offers out there and can just as easily say sorry those are non-commitable, when a kid jumps at it just like Saban. I get what your saying but at this point in the recruiting year and the new trend of non-commitable offers, numbers mean nothing.
Too me I think it's a joke that people think this is all mind games by Saban. I mean Ohio State coaches aren't gonna take a kid they aren't sold based on his offer list. They also know the Ohio High school players better than anyone so to say it's a move by Saban to make Meyer waste time re-evaluating isn't legitimate either, Ohio kids get brought to the attention of OSU before anyone else. I have no idea if Saban would take a committment from any these Ohio kids or not but he is definitely interested or it's a waste of his time offering. Plus you never want to play with kids in recruiting rich areas like Ohio. It gets around the coaching community and can come back and bite you, especially for and out of state school like BAMA who has 2 Ohio kids penciled in as starters next year.
If that's mind games, then what do you call Urban offering every kid in the state of Georgia? I swear we must have an offer out to 275 Georgia kids. It's the same thing Saban is doing. Does Urban want a lot of those Georgia kids? Yes, a lot of them are very good. But is it also a direct shot at the SEC and a message to them? Absolutely.
"Fundamentals are the crutch for the talentless" - Kenny Powers
Our quarterback does front flips, suck it.
I piss excellence.
Saban and Meyer value each others talent evaluation. They are friendly rivals and fierce competitors.
Bama offers are starting to be less and less valueable. They hand em out like candy
