does anyone know if Jordan got red shirted? we are fine with out him this season. And i would love to keep him for next season, when we can play for all the marbles. I'm getting chills just thinking about him, Jalin, and Zeek Elliot all being able to play that Percy Harvin role. Along with Carlos and a resurgence Rod Smith. Ladies and Gentlemen we are going to EAT souls next year.
I could be wrong but I think medical redshirts are presented to the B1G after the season. Each case is evaluated and ruled on depending on circumstances (type of injury, was there a previous redshirt already used...) and time (how many games played) of the injury.
*Not an expert but this is my understanding. Someone else chime in if there is more to it or if something I said was incorrect.
He will have to formally apply for the redshirt. Should get it based on the number of games he actually played in. Don't know how close he is to graduation, but if he wants a redhirt he could always apply to grad school.
We would be fine without him every season.
i hope not.. move on
The staff plans on getting him a medical redshirt
We are coming for you Bama!
Medical RS is applied for and determined after season completed. Hall doesn't really excite me and except for depth I am not sure how valuable an asset he will be if he does come back.
Seriously doubt Hyde goes into draft this year or that he would be projected to be high pick. He should get plenty of action next year as the probable starter and maybe he can develope a move for once he has broken into the open as that is what he needs to become an even more dangerous runner.
