Not the whole OSU fan base.. Just the buck nuts majority ( well since its the largest) or its just a few of us that make us look bad.. I am trying to understand this, I know this is a place of discussion & opinions.. But it's like the trend is always .. Follow like sheep & jump off the cliff.. I know we are passionate about the bucks & care about them .. But how do we tend to get impatient.
It's like sometimes we don't even allow a glimmer of hope.. If you have any hope or support when things are all looking bad you tend to be labeled a homer .. Tressel-lover , Fickell apologist.. Unrealitic & so forth..
But if we are all buckeye fans ( I understand its human nature to let emotions get the best of us or knee jerk reactions ) why always trend to the negative..
Can we hold off the Meltdown until we have something concrete .. & on Gamedays can we relax a little ..
Am sure most of us are level-headed.
Too logical, too obvious, too simple, therefore unacceptable to this board...
Yeah, at times the hive-mind thing can rear it's head a bit. When you get used to winning at a high rate for so many years, any negative becomes amplified. Just the nature of the beast.
I always pray for the best. I don't ever give up hope and it always pays off.
We may have lost the battle......but not the war.
I would say there are more fans predicting 24-0 than not

I know Heater hasn't been around enough doing his presidential duty.
Sarah sorry about the Herpes.
Dude. It was reported that our top tailback had beat up a girl and was kicked off the team. Then we are hit with our top DB was in trouble for a bar fight, and another player was in trouble. After the beating that we have taken by the media the past few years, this could not have been good for the program. Luckily Brahn and Von Millers suspensions happened the same day or we would have faced a media blood bath. We also watch many in the media drag our coach through the mud over A. Hernandez.
Our coaches are trying to talk parents into allowing their kids to come play at our great school. This type of attention does not help. O.K. things are looking better, but yesterday the bad news that was being reported as fact did not look so good. Glad your hind sight is 20/20.
I agree that some over reacted, but the news that was first reported looked awfully bad.

Fan is short for fanatic (as you all know) so yes we do but so do most fan bases. If we weren't crazy ass fans like we are we wouldn't have one of the best programs in the country. We'd be Pitt. Ill take and even embrace the crazies if it means we pack the shoe week in and week out 105,000 screaming bucknuts.
We have higher expectations than other fanbases.
How would mich state react if a first round pick and their starting rb both got busted in one weekend?
Sparty would be on suicide watch.
I cant imagine any fan base taking all of the Monday news in stride. Regardless of how it all shakes out, we thought we knew everything on Monday, and it was devastating.
We definitely have a bi-polar fan base here at BN, no doubt about that.
