Any time you give a man something he doesn't earn, you cheapen him. Our kids earn what they get, and that includes respect.” - Woody Hayes
I think we are putting too much stock in what the father says without even talking to his son.
Either he hasn't talked to his son and therefore, really, has no idea what he is thinking, 50-50 or otherwise
He has talked to his son and isn't ready to discuss a preference for a number of reasons.
Either way, it probably isn't really 50-50.
'We are attacking that like animals right now.'
when in doubt go with the Duane Long rule,,,,,"if you ain't leading after the visit, fuget about it"
I tend to agree but when a recruit is committed to another team then I throw that out the window.
Do not like hearing Gary Campbell is in the area. Gary is Oregon's "deal closer" and Dontre likes him a lot.
found this on the duck website as well.
he has deleted BOTH Oregon and Ohio ST tweets, not all, but some of both..
This is crazy!
It was just yesterday that Jhop reported that coach Cam had spoken with Dontre and he had re-committed or was still committed or whatever. That was last night.
Also, someone posted up this quote from Dontre's HS teamate that says that Dontre isn't really considering the Bucks, it's all for the attention and such.
Is this for real or is it a smokescreen to generate excitement?

C'mon guys calm down! Here we go again. If we don't get him or Timmons or Bell the class is still going to be great and the staff has a great start on 2014. Maybe we bank a couple for next year, too
My two cents is that if this goes to NSD, he's coming to Columbus. I don't think he'll wait until NSD to reaffirm what he's already supposed to be, committed to Oregon.
I'm split on this Wilson thing. I could go either way right now. On one hand, I really want him to be a Buckeye, but on the other hand, I can see Oregon pushing hard.
I could see this rolling either way down the roof line. It seems to be a black and white issue but the pendulum continues to swing back and forth. This is really is an upside/down situation.
I am beside myself. I guess it's a coin flip at this point but I will say that it appears the glass if half full for one of the schools.
After this I am only half awake so I give it a 50% chance I won't comment again.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder
According to AZ, Urban still has his in home since he just visited his school. If we have a real shot, I'd expect Urban to be down to Texas to visit. When Oregon sent the whole staff that would be their HC's last visit. We'll see what happens.
I like Wilson a lot, but I just want to make sure we get play makers in this class. Right now I rank our WR prospects: Wilson, Clark, Elder, Carrington, Smith, Timmons. I'd be happy with any two of the first 5 listed.
Cleveland Orchestra Baby!! World's greatest!! The Brown's wet dream is to be them. The Ohio State University-Where the Illibuck Lives!
Wasn't this kid quoted directly saying that if Kelly left for the NFL that he was going to play for Ohio State? WTF is up with 50/50?
"The only thing That Team Up North will be tasting this year is the salty tears of defeat" - UFM
I don't remember that other than speculation that he would open up recruiting and consider OSU if Kelly left.
I honestly don't feel strongly that we get Wilson. I hope I'm wrong.
