TOON TOON! BLACK N WHITE! TOON TOON! BLACK N WHITE!
And he fell in every recruiting rankings why again?
"Dorsey...under pressure...throws iiiiiit. Incomplete. The Buckeyes win!" - Keith Jackson
Who knows and who cares. Are you suggesting that anytime someones (subjective) rankings fall that this indicates they aren't going to be a good player in college?
What does this have to do with anything? He was still a four star. Are you saying four stars are not good players?
That just summed us this thread perfectly. Game. Set. Match.
The falling in ranking does not surprise me....people forget that recruiting services are a for profit business....a long time committed kid does not generate as many hits and attention as an uncommited one that is highly ranked....it has been noted many times that kids that commit early often fall at some point in the rankings....I wouldnt put much stock in Marshall dropping in he rankings .
What are you talking about? You started a thread about how you believe Marshall isn't going to be good. Everything you come up with is irrelevant. Then you throw a hail mary in hopes that it might mean something by asking about recruiting rankings dropping. Which once again have no bearing whatsoever on the success of Marshall at the next level. But now you think that somehow sums everything up and announce "Game, set, match"???????????
You're going to have to explain yourself now. Because you are making no sense. Are you now admitting that your original post was ridiculous and that these stats and ratings are irrelevant?
You're just grasping at straws now. He is 35th in the 247 composite with a 98 rating. 57th in 247 rankings with a 95 rating. So the 247 staff are lower on him than the other sites. Either way it isn't a huge drop. Some other guys move up, so some guys have to drop. He is a consensus top 100 player.
He was a QB who ran the majority of the time, moving to a position where he will be given the ball in various ways. Watch Harvin's college highlights, its about getting him the ball in space, not being a ”Jerry Rice".
This thread basically comes down to:

Every post by Tresselfan = Downvote
Don't know about the other sites, but on 24/7 JC Shurburtt said Jalin fell because he lacked elite 40 speed and no longer projected as a 1st round pick.
What's up Tressel fan?
You are normally a good poster here.
This thread is very unlike you. You're entitled to your opinion. So is everyone else.
You are really reaching with some of the stuff you've said.
Yes, Jalin fell to a 4 star and it was probably because he was a QB in high school who will have to learn to play a different position. In an early camp last year he didn't tear it up as a WR. He also had one bad 40 time.
Players switch positions all the time between high school and college. It doesn't mean imeadiate failure.
He had one bad 40 time but there was a reason for it and he has ran other fast 40s.
After he was finished playing QB for his team, he started working at getting better at WR. By the time he got to the UAAA game, he had made a lot of progress and looked very good at WR.
Now compare him to Shane Morris.
Shane played QB in high school and will play the same position in college. Shane may end up being really good but he didn't show it in high school. His ranking was based on potential and what scouts saw in camps. His actual performance in games and at the position of QB was never good.
you did nothing to prove your idiotic rant. I am going to give you the benefit of the doubt and chalk this up to your gay mishitgan fan little brother hacking your account on this one.because your rationalizations here didn't equal anything concerning the point you were trying to make. You brought up mishitgan too many times for a real Buckeye fan too.
Jerry Rice ran a 4.7 at the combine so to me it sounds like Jalin is on par to be the greatest!!
We may have lost the battle......but not the war.
