In 1638 Milton wrote " I am inclined to believe, that when the language in common use in any country becomes irregular and depraved, it is followed by their ruin or their degradation. For what do terms used without skill or meaning, which are corrupt and misapplied, denote, but a people listless, supine, and ripe for servitude? In a degree that conclusion applies to some contributors here and certainly to one thread.
Suck it bitch.
I am a Buckeye...proof there is a God in Heaven who loves me.
I see dead people... I mean downvotes
Hating scUM since 1964
I was conversating with one of my boys about this. We was saying the same thing.

Someone give this nerd a wedgie
From long years of observation, I can tell you this is a battle you cannot win. Mob rule will shout you down.
Dude, Its a public football board. What chew are lookin for is elsewhere.
In 1999 Milton said, "if they take my stapler one more time I swear I'm going to burn the building down."
Sarah sorry about the Herpes.
"I don't care if they lay me off either, because I told, I told Bill that if they move my desk one more time, then, then I'm, I'm quitting, I'm going to quit. And, and I told Don too, because they've moved my desk four times already this year, and I used to be over by the window, and I could see the squirrels, and they were married, but then, they switched from the Swingline to the Boston stapler, but I kept my Swingline stapler because it didn't bind up as much, and I kept the staples for the Swingline stapler and it's not okay because if they take my stapler then I'll set the building on fire" - Milton Waddams
Damn you....took me too long to type it.
Nasty, Simpson....Hilarious. Bravo to you both.
If you do not like what's being said in this said thread feel free to stay the F_ck out of it nobody forces you to go in it....Would you like to buy a vowel?. But just for the record I'm inclined to believe that if a man goes to bed with an itchy butt he will surely wake up with stinky fingers!!!!! I guess out of confusion and chaos comes clarity huh.
Killing SCUM just to watch it die!!!!....."De Oppresso Libre"
I see a message board as a place people just come to relax and share ideas about a passion they have for certain things ...
and not a place to worry about people being so uptight.
Its like going to the bar and talking to some friends about last nights ball game and someone over hears a possible F-bomb slip out.
Your in a bar ...who cares and mind your own f'n business.
Don't like something ....move on and show some tolerance.
You're in a bar. Not your in a bar.
Sorry, I had to :)
I think that probably quite a few of us see incorrect spelling and grammar on Bucknuts boards. I have chosen never to comment when somebody uses the word "seen" instead of "saw", "to" instead of "too", etc. We are by our nature a pretty diverse group here at Bucknuts. Different educational levels, different ages and so forth. Sometimes the only thing we really have in common is our love of all things Buckeye. Additionally, some posters here craft their words very precisely while others don't concern themselves with it. As long as I can understand what someone is trying to say, I try not to get too hung up on how they say it.
"Any fool can criticize, condemn and complain - and most fools do."
-- Ben Franklin
Fat, drunk, and stupid is no way to go through life, son.
-- Dean Wormer
The average American is not very sharp. That is the reality I deal with every day in the classroom. I am not very hopeful looking towards the future. Hopefully society will start to value education again.
Agreed. It bugs me, I have to figure out what is meant, reduces my enjoyment, but you cannot do more than is done. Frankly, I am surprised it has not been affected that much by Twitter abbreviations that would take twenty minutes to figure out for each statement.
Don't think you are alone, but you just can't change this thing. Not a priority for anyone with any control over "the masses".
The closest that I will ever get to a Buckeye ring or Gold Pants. Saw it sold on e-bay April 29, 2011 for $8500.
If you were expecting to find proper english on a sports related forum anywhere on the web you are being pretty naive. To quote Sweet Brown, "Ain't nobody got time fo that"
"Right hand red... Left foot blue."
You must like to do a lot of this........ and I am not referencing lifting weights.
Mary Higgens Clark must have a board or blog somehwere for you.....
I am sure it "ain't" that hard to find
