Ohio State's hoop team is average this year..,,we have some good guys, some quality people, but bottom line is, we're just average... I know it's not what we're accustomed to, it's not what we expected, but it is reality... We really can't score... We're basically just an average team.... Doesn't mean they won't play hard, or win their share of games... They're just nowhere near the level they've been, and it's hard to accept... But we have to... It's reality
Really, really tough to watch. I had to turn it off. Was not salty about losing at Duke or to Kansas when we couldn't make a shot, but today was absolutely atrocious. Terrible offense, and if I see Amir or Deshaun jog back on defense in the next game I'm going to throw up. That is inexcusable. Illinois out-played and out-coached us today. We've now played three top-25 teams and lost them all. Tough to argue that we are better than average based on our performance.
can someone please tell me why "they" changed craft's shot?
Illinois played well and Assembly Hall is a tough venue. We need to play better, no doubt, but I still see potential in this team. The good thing about College basketball is that you can always make a run in March, but I agree that this team is of borderline top 25 quality. Thompson and Ross need to step up and provide points.
Why do shitty posters like the OP only appear when the Buckeyes lose?
Nobody has changed it! That's the problem. He pushes the ball, he always has.

Yes I get it but I don't think anyone was ready for the Bucks to drop off and be mediocre. I think we got used to them playing well and winning most of their games. It's like they dropped down several notches from being super competitive to just competitive. And today they were not competitive. Of course we are talking about college kids. They have a lot more issues in their lives than just winning or losing a game. But still it can be hard to watch when they have done so well the last few years......just saying
That's a major reason why so many Buckeye hoop fans are deeply concerned this evening; they didn't "play hard" on the road versus the #12 team in America. Unreal.
Why is he a shitty poster for stating his opinion about the team be just average? He's shitty because you disagree? How about just stating why you disagree?
This team has a long way to go to become nationally relevant again. It won't happen this year or next. Maybe come tourney time '14 we see a growing team that will turn a corner. That is reality
Nit talk is ridiculous. This team will make the tourney and go out very early. They are so weak in so many different aspects.

He's a shitty poster because A) he, like osuwest and his ilk, only comes around and bashes the Buckeyes whenever they lose and B) he gives no tangible arguments as to why the Buckeyes are average. He just says "The Buckeyes are average" 100 times with nothing to back it up. That's why he's a shitty poster.
If you watched the game, then you'd have all the reasons you need to know why they are average. It's not like ESPN, the SEC, ND, Bama, Kiffin, Bolman Pryor, Tressel, the media, or NCAA cheated us out of a win. We just aren't very good...
I actually didn't get a chance to watch the game so I don't have all the reasons. Tripol's excellent post in this thread is exactly what the OP should of done instead of shouting "THIS TEAM IS AVERAGE LOLOLOLZ" 800 times.
