heisman finalists since troy smith won:
Big 12 - 9
SEC - 8
Pac 12 - 2
Big 10 - 1
Just a little bias since we lost the 2 NC's?
I think it's the complete lack of production from everyone in the B1G compared to the national level since 2006, mostly. In most cases, we as OSU fans should start to look at facts over the popular "bias card."

Who would you have there?
The Heisman is qb/rb award. How many exciting top round draft picks has the B1G produced since then? The most exiting players in the conference since then? Braxton and T.P.? Name some others...
Mendenhall '07 1681yd 17 TD. Or beanie '07 with 1630 yd 15 TD for one loss NC team. Comparable to mcfadden that year at 1725 yd 15 td's
Shonn Greene '08 - 1899yd 20 TD's. Only took 3 that year.
John Clay '09 - 1517 yds 15 td. ingram had 1542 yds and 15 td and won it.
Pryor '10 2772 passing 27 td 11 int. 755 rush 5 td. James for Oregon got invited with 1682yd 21 td. see shonn greene above.
Denard '10 2570 passing 18 td 11 int. 1702 rush 14 tds.
Braxton this year on an undefeated team.
Not saying that all should go. Yet to get only one invite in all those years facing much better defenses that the big 12 seems like the BIg was slighted a few times. Just pointing out the huge difference.
Some great players and solid names. Some of these guys could have been invited. It'd be a tough argument for any of them to win it though. I do think Braxton's time will come in the next year or following year.
