Dude gets kicked off the team, failed numerous drug tests, arrests, etc and feels like he should get something...
If I was the GM... Bye bye, thanks but no thanks.
I'm not sure where in the article he says he won't sign a contract without guaranteed money? It seems like this writer is trying to create a story that isn't there and made sure to use a misleading headline.

Isn't a quote but...
"they should flat-out reject any contract offer that contains no guaranteed money as that would be an unprecedented deal."
What a joke.
Its not unprecedented, MoC signed without gty $$$ I believe. Didnt read the article btw
Technically, he would be stupid to sign a contract with no guaranteed money. He was a 3rd RD pick... I dont care about his baggage, the Cardinals picked him. They didn't have to and no one forced them too. Most contracts have some kind of guaranteed money to protect the players. All that failed drug test shit happened on another team in another situation. This is a new league, new business... If thats the case, Jim Tressel shouldn't be allowed to ever coach again because he fucked up too. His fuck ups cost the entire University, not just himself. So get off that high horse and stop being a hater.
What are you talking about high horse?
I'm saying he should feel lucky he got picked and be more open instead of being self loathing little bitch.
If he doesn't like the Cards offer he can sit out another year and drop down to a #4 or #5 pick. His baggage weighs a ton. If I'm the Cards GM I would stick by my guns. He is too big of a risk for guaranteed $$.
You people are so negative sometimes, like all of you are perfect, why the fuck would he sign with NO guarantee money, you guys are dumb
I don't see anything wrong with this. It happens every year to a lot players. This is a non-story IMO.
We may have lost the battle......but not the war.
I've never failed multiple drug tests or been arrested like he has. Nor kicked off a team.
So ya, I'm sounding pretty perfect compared to this fuck up.
I'm not saying he shouldn't get any guaranteed money, but from the sound of the article (at least my impression) he thought he deserves the full 670k, not to mention, if he makes the roster he gets paid every week anyways.
So tell me again how a fuck up who happens to be a good athlete deserves 670k... Then gets kicked off the team for failed drug tests...

He isn't being a self loating bitch but your attitude is. The Cardinal Drafted him. If they didn't want to give him money, they could have passed on him. Only and Idiot signs a contract with no money guaranteed. MoC ring a bell. Got nothing. Dumb people like you sit on your high horses and talk down about kids who make dumb mistakes. Well Jesus "OHSethIO" how many mistakes have you made in your life that you wish you didn't. Don't throw stones in your glass house or you might just break a window.
Hail Hail to MeatChicken the Cesspool of the World!
So your saying the guy should play professional football for free, because he failed multiple drug test, sorry mother Teresa that's not how it works, no matter what you say he earned that draft pick, he isn't no scrub of a football player, I'm sure he will have certain stipulations in his contract to where he would get multiple random drug screens, but to play with NO guaranteed money would be dumber than getting booted off the football team
Read my last statement.
As far as my mistakes, I've never made mistakes that could of ruined my career, let alone multiple mistakes that SHOULD of ruined his work career. The whole young and dumb, he'll grow up... Doesn't work when it happens over and over and over again.
No dumbass, I'm saying he shouldn't expect a bonus his first year. Once he makes the roster and stays out of trouble it's a whole new ball game.
Start from the bottom and work your way up when you mess up... But I guess your parents didn't teach you that.
The dude made mistakes. He agreed to no guarnateed money and weekly drug tests. He deserves his 2nd chance. Idk what this thread is about honestly. Seems kind of un-American...
I don't give a damn how lucky he should feel... He has the right to make a good living like anyone else. If you fuck in life does your job deserve to not gaurantee your paycheck every 2 weeks... You're the one who sounds like a dumbass. Kids fuck up... It's apart of life. People have done a lot worse than fail drug tests and get kicked off a football team. Only if you knew how many players smoke weed on OSU's team... Hell, people in your everyday life smoke weed like its nothing but I bet you don't talk shit about them. gtfoh
Can buy lots of pot and masking agents with guaranteed money!
Dude you lost!!!!!! , with your sorry ass opinion, move on
Actually, if I fuck up. I do lose my job.
And I have no problem with pot itself, I have a problem with someone not having enough self control to follow the rules set I place.
If kids on our team are smoking and get caught multiple times, they are in the same category.
You fuck up and lose your job. If another company decides to take a chance on you, it is on them. But you would still deserve to be treated like every other employee at that new company.
Cardinals did not have to draft him that high. His issues weren't hidden or a surprise. They drafted him knowing all about his baggage.
Your missing my point.
I'm saying he shouldn't expect the same as another 3rd Rd pick that has no issues. He should take it as a lesson, perform then get his bonus, etc.
