I really hope that the weather this weekend does not impact a possible verbal.
Buckeye Nation = The best fans, The best team and The Best Damn Band in the Land !
I guess it is what it is....nothing hid......Central Ohio has cold and snowy winters...its not Miami Beach......but it is THE Ohio State University...that is what the privlidge of playing for is all about!
I don't think anyone whether on a visit or not is under the impression that it doesn't snow in Ohio.
IMO..The prospects are at Ohio State so they must be interested in the Buckeyes..I do not see the weather being an issue. Urban Meyer is a relentless recruiter..I would not bet against Urban Meyer.

Woody and Archie.................................. Alex being Alex, ....................................and Woody at Dennison
When are they expected on campus?
This is The Ohio State University! I am getting a little tired of people worring how the weather is going to effect a kids decision. Get real. They will come here for a million reasons before the weather factors in. I never hear NFL player bitch and complain about playing in New England, Green Bay or NYC. This is a non-issue..........
"It's great to be home." -Urban Meyer
Jesus! Little elementary school students walk home in it every day. Man up. Or at least baby up. Snow is nothing to fear. If you don't like the weather up here, then GTFO.
We may have lost the battle......but not the war.
If I'd never seen snow before I would think it's kind of neat. I have lived in the Midwest all my life and a still get excited when it snows the first 3-4 times a season. I don't really get sick of it untill late Feb.-March.
Some people like things to always stay the same, and if a kid from Fla. is like that, then he prob. will be turned off by the weather.
I would think anyone can handle winter in Columbus for only four years.
If they aren't aware that it's cold and snowy up north in the winter, then thats a huge red flag for academics.
Ha that's funny yet true!
I never understand why people make such a big deal out of the weather when kids come to visit. If the kid can't handle being in the cold for 5 seconds or whatever it is from car to place and place to car, he shouldn't come here to play football where he will be in the cold for a lot longer, with colder closthes on. It is what it is...either you can handle it, or you just don't belong here.
It was 80 and sunny in Austin today. I imagine Desoto was 70 or so. Gonna be a hell of a contrast.
