Release his phone records and show that he was on the phone for 8 hours every night like he claimed he was with his dying girlfriend, that is a very simple way to clear your name if you are innocent, which I don't believe he is. If he was part of a hoax he would not have been on the phone for 8 hours nightly with a random number.
If he was on the phone, trace the number and see who it was. Simple huh? Let's see him dance around this...

This is total BS!!! Who in the hell would claim that some girl he never met is his girlfriend? It's not like this guy is some tool that hides behind a computer all day he is a legitimate stud that chicks throw themselves at. This is total media blitz gone bad for him and he needs to be cracked in the knees with a baseball bat for tugging on the heartstrings of all the good people that saw the story.
For starters, Provode some phone records PROVING he had an 8 hour conversation while she was in the hospital or other records showing phone calls to the hospital or a least a consistent number that can help his "alibi"
The beautiful thing about the Internet...whatever you post, it's always out there. If these computer chats happened as well, they can be found.
Thats what he can do for a start...
Great point, if he is innocent he should be throwing that info out right away. I would be tryin to clear my name rinstantly, not hidin from it and releasing a lame statement. Say "look, I've talked to this person 8 hours a night, here is my phone records showing this, this is a number I thought was to the hospital, here are our chat convos" and then explain why he said she visited him and he met after the Stanford game... He is really makin himself look worse.
This is just sad.

We may have lost the battle......but not the war.
This is a great point. He's made a number of statements about meeting and talking with this 'girlfriend'. Prove any of those happened and he's muxh more credible in this situation. Telling people you met in person, then claiming you met a few times in Hawaii, then claiming you talked all the time for hours on the phone. That is an awful lot of public deception if you now claim only online interactions happened. It's getting to the point where you'd almost have to claim actual stupidity or mental illness to convince people you were actually duped. Barring that, it seems like you'd have to be involved for it to have gotten this far. I actually hope that something comes out that makes sense of all this without him being a bad guy, but it seems less likely the more that comes out.
Interesting, less than a week (days) after the LOVE OF HIS LIFE, his rock, his everything, the person that helped make him the man he is today, calls him and comes back to life, and says it was all a lie..... He posts the following heart wrenching tweet...
"Swaggin in the bowlin alley!! pic.twitter.com/JHX8nRE5"
Really seems like a man whos entire world had been flipped upside down...
Put yourself in his position, your girlfriend that you were enamored with, and completely in love with, the beautiful young girl you spent 8 hours a night talking to until she "died", calls you on the phone.... and like 3 days later you're swaggin it at the bowling alley... I would be in a padded room because I would have lost my mind. Or would be on the hunt ready to hurt someone... lol. Not quite the caring emotional guy the vice president makes him out to be.
When everyone runs out...we run in. Support your firemen.
The problem I have with this is not whether he was in on it or not. There is some simple logic here and it goes like this:
1) If Teo was in on this, he's a media-hungry bastard of the lowest level and will probably die alone in a hotel room from self-inflicted gunshot wounds because he wil never escape the hell the media and fans will shit all over him.
2) if he did not know anything about it and was duped, what a dumb-ass motherfucker. Any hot-blooded horny college kid, let alone a linebacker at ND - would have wanted to eventually meet this hot chick. There are reports he met with her - which instantly implicates him in the fraud - and there are also those that say he never met her - which implicates him as a dumb-ass. I've never met anyone that has conducted a 3-4 year online relationship without at least some contact.
(edit: I've never met anyone that has ever conducted a 3-4 year online relationship - ever.)
3) how does a linebacker at Notre Dame not nail all kinds of tail in South Bend for the 4 years he was there? ... Make up a story that you have a girlfriend. Then the question becomes are you gay? I don't care whether he is gay or not, but if he is complicit in this - and it looks as if there is a possibility that there is - there is likely a reason he dreamed all this up. It isn't some dumb college frat prank. This is really sick shit.

The Father, The Son... well, it's the
The Holy Trinity... as I see it.
The only thing that remotely comes close to how sick this story is, is when the news broke that Tonya Harding was involved in the attack on Nancy Kerrigan. Everyone was like: "WTF?!"
You just can't make this shit up. You just can't.
