Taivon Jacobs. I was at work today, (I live in the DC,MD,VA Area) and ran into a friend of mine whose son plays with Taivon Jacobs.
He was telling me how good Taivon is. He plays QB on Offense, His Team uses an Option Attack on Offense, he also plays CB. The interesting part is my friend says that Taivon is lightning fast and quick, but more importantly is strong for his size, He benches 300+lbs aleady which means he is putting the work in the Weightroom. My friend also says he breaks a lot of tackles. He is playing against very good competiton here in the Area. When he gets to Ohio State he will have to learn the WR positon because he has only played QB in High School, but my friend says that Taivon is a very smart young man, and a "good Kid". Just a little tidbit from me, I thought it was interesting, so I thought I'd share with you. GO BUCKS!!
Interesting...in alot of his videos it looks like he plays quite a bite of receiver?
On another note I agree....His tape looks good and I always feel good about kids that impress enough infront of our coaches at a camp to merit an offer.
I think you might have gotten some bad info. Taivon Jacobs is tiny, no way does he bench 300+ and he plays receiver and CB. Bill gives us updates every week from his games and its all receiving touchdowns...
From O-Zone weekly report:
Taivon Jacobs (WR), District Heights, MD Suitland HS
Jacobs finished with eight receptions for 197 yards, including a 75-yard touchdown. His Suitland team defeated Laurel 41-6. Jacobs' performance once again earned him special recognition from the Washington Post.
If he is both throwing and receiving the ball, then YES, I believe he will be something special...

The OP got hornswoggled
Since he would be doing it for Ohio State, I am sure that we will find a way to get penalized for it.
I don't care what he benches or if he plays guard. My man can fly! Reminds me of a poor mans Teddy Ginn the way he runs.
If there has been wrong information on my part, I humbly apologize, that was not my intent. I thought I was providing some new Information, once again my humble apologies to Buckeye Nation. I will definitely not Post again until I am certain. Thanks for not killing the messenger.
The description sounds exactly like Jalin marshall, so maybe there was some confusion there or something. But Jalin plays QB in an option attack and I believe his coach said he was the strongest player on their team.

His stride and style are very similar to Teddy Ginn. He has a smoothness about him, and it looks like he has a real feel for open spaces.
He signed with OSU - can't believe no one saw it
Our hs QB and 2nd baseman is 5'9" 165 and benches 295...definitely believable!
