It is all the injuries, and age. No depth is an issue that needs addressed. When there isn't a QB on the roster besides Ben capable of playing at a high enough level to win a game, then there is a problem. Mendenhall is a fumbler and has no durability. The LB corp, once a great stength, is playing with 2 good LB's and 2 bad LB's. The CB position has been a weakness for years. I keep hearing Ike Taylor is a "shut down CB" but every time a team needs a big pass play it is always him getting burned. They have had a drop off in WR's since Holmes left.
In this upcoming draft they need a LB to replace Foote, a CB ( I don't care who they replace there), a RB that can move the chains and not fumble, and a WR.
I'm not a big Steelers fan. I respect them and I cheer for them but I prefer the Browns. Why? I still wonder.
That said, whether the stadium is empty or not, their are plenty of Steeler bars and Steeler jerseys down here on any given Sunday.
Steeler Nation exists. I can't say the same for the Browns (there's a few of us, but not dedicated bars for game day).
Are you from PA? The Pittsburgh area?
Being a Browns fans, I'd like to jump on this bandwagon and beat the piss out of Steeler Fan, but my Browns suck. So, until they prove they can win for more than one year every decade, I really can't say shit to Steeler Fan. Fact is, they are winners, as much as it Fing hurts to say that. 8 Super Bowl appearances, 6 wins. Damn.
The Father, The Son... well, it's the
The Holy Trinity... as I see it.
I am SO confused ^^^^^^^^^^.
I would love nothing more than to see the Brownies win the AFC one day (I could see might self rooting for them against the Falcons). I grew up watching Brian Sipe and the Cardiac Kids.
Also growing up I had to pick between the Steelers and Cowboys. You had to choose one or the other. I chose the Steelers.
The Browns have not given me a reason to cheer for them come playoff time (in decades) when I have have to make choices. When I say I grew up in Ohio and like the Browns, I get sympathy pats on my back.

The Steelers are the class of the NFL. Ben was never even charged with rape, let alone convicted. Think before you post.
