You are right. I argue with people all the time how TP was a better passer than what people give him credit for and also better than Braxton. The hate that festers inside them creates a biased view of him IMO. Too bad they don't know all the facts. Moving on, TP was dominant and had he stayed here all four years he would've worked over more teams as he progressed. In Urban's offense? HOLYSHIT!
That's total BS! You and just about everyone have no clue! NONE!
If you only knew!
I agree, he really stepped up that day after struggling at times in the passing game. But he sure didn't that day. Overall Brax has yet to play a game like that, he runs for more yards than TP but hasn't been able to burn them with his arm.
What he did, every coach at a big time program does. They all do it. This was minor. Most give money out in 6 digits. Tress most likely thought it was minor, and worth the risk. He got caught, and it snowballed.
Hopefully get to see him this Sunday vs SD
TP was great in the Rose Bowl, but really did not improve much as a passer his Jr yr vs. the second half of his sophmore season.
Although I would say TP as a sophmore was better than Brax as a sophmore, I hope to say Brax was better as a Jr. TP did have a better supporting cast than Brax sophmore yr.
Not sure I agree. TP went to almost 3,000 yards passing and 27 TD passes his Junior year. That was a substantial jump from his soph year.
Very well said.
Very well said. TP won you two BCS bowl games.
A lot of buckeye fans are so fickel. They don't even remember the '10 rose bowl and '11 sugar bowl, but the memory of 41-14 and cries of "WE CANT BEAT THE SEC" are still fresh in their minds.
After the Purdue game I cursed his name 1000 times, but from that game forward he was as good as we've had. Every game he played I was confident he was a better athlete than anyone on the field. Then he went out and proved it.
