in our region for a trip to Atlanta and our second straight Final 4. THANK YOU basketball Gods!!!!!
Not going to count our eggs before they hatch, but I think these are all very favorable match-ups for us. I can't remember a year that has seemed this wide-open.
I'm also not sure which match-up I'm looking forward to less..a potential game against another B1G foe, or Louisville. The Cardinals are looking downright nasty at the moment.
I'll consider this season a wild success if we get to the Final Four.
So are we... This team can contend, they are getting better by the game.
I just wanna get past Iowa state! Very nervous about this game... We need to get over this "Dayton hump"! Than we will have almost a week to prepare for AZ... But your right, very favorable field left. We just have to go out and play with urgency!!
"Leaders & Legends? Really? How about just name the divisions, Ohio State & everyone else." -Colin Cowherd
Thad will have them prepared, now the kids have to execute and take one game at a time beginning with ISU. Anything can happen at this point...a key injury, poor shooting and the biggest equalizer, poor officiating. The way this is lining up is beyond what one could have hoped. As Jake said in Major League, "I guess we'll just have to win the whole damn thing."
I refuse to look ahead.
I still contend the upsets change nothing. The Buckeyes were the favorites and still are the favorites. The pressure could actually go up because now they are really suppose to win, as opposed to should win. Nothing easy about playing either Iowa St. or Arizona. Who ever shows up in the top half of the bracket for the elite eight will be a hot team. The one very good thing is the Buckeyes are the best defensive team and defense is one thing that does not go in a slump as long as the effort is there. Play a solid 40 minutes, and short of the other guys just making a lot of bad shots, then the Buckeyes should survive and advance.
I am worried as crap about tomorrow's game!
he wouldn't let his players pose in the Playboy All-American magazine edition, he said, "Cause you can't play football with an erection."
Whoever wins netween ISU/OSU vs Arizona will go to Fi al Four! We match up fairly well with ISU, but we still need to play well. Arizona is getting overlooked though. They are Über talented, and they match up well with us. If we beat ISU, Arizona will be super tough to beat. Whoever does win that goes to the Final Four.
Most of Matta's past tournment mistakes surrounded his un-willingness to play more than 6 or 7 guys....sor of an "Iron Man" stragety.. Today he is playing 10 or so and wiht full rotations....big difference becasue he now has adequate players to cover and give rest....I think we can take all of these opponents if we play one game at a time as I hink we will......"Old Abe said.."the hen cackles AFTER she has laid the egg"......
