LSU defense is bad ass.

LSU is winning this in the trenches. Both the o-line and d-line of LSU are having their way right now.
All there D-lineman can run so can their backers. This why teams like Clemson and Oregon can't compete with the SEC defenses (I know this term pisses people off, but their defenses are on another level) with their spread it out fast-paced offenses. The ACC and PAC defenses have a few guys defense who can run. the LSU's, Floridas, BAMA's and South Carolina's everyone can run. It's a track meet to the QB and your O-line gets worn down. LSU's offense is horrible though.
Indeed. Hopefully what sets our offense apart from the Clemson's and Oregon's is our ability to run the ball between the tackles.
Clemson's special teams are horrible.
Clemson's poor special teams play, and two turnovers that led to 10 points to LSU is the difference in this game.
LSU had one break away RB TD run, outside of that, their offense is anemic.
Both Clemson and LSU wanted DT Mike Hill and WSDE Viper Tyquan Lewis, Urban adding some southern DL help fast.

LSU has a great defense but damn, that offense is horrible. There defense is going to get winded with the offense going 3 and out all night long.
Agreed that is how they have been all year, get a couple runs and few big-plays and rely on your defense. Both these QB's hold the ball forever, when a team can rush 4 and put pressure on a college QB they really show there colors on whether or not they can play in the NFL, neither of these QB's will be Sunday quarterbacks.
LSU's defensive players look like they want to hurt you real bad every time they tackle you.
It's going to be fun when LSU/Bama has to play a team that can match up with them in the trenches aka tOSU.
When a defense has this kind of speed you have to hit quick in the passing game. That play was sweet.
Look at how QB's like Wilson, RGIII and Kapernick are now being used in the NFL, plus Cam Newton. Boyd has a NFL career for sure, his OL is getting handled tonight, not his fault.
Boyd has all the tools to be in the NFL, Lerch Mettenberger, no way.
He will get drafted but he isn't getting drafted high or ever playing - I will bet you that. Indecisive, not accurate QB's don't make it in the league.
Damn what a throw and catch.
Look at Boyd's last two throws, only 2/3 QB's make those throws under duress after running 27 times and getting numerous others with sacks and QB hits.
Boyd's 3rd down toss to the TE and TD pass as bullet into coverage were NFL throws, not a of starting NFL QB's could make those two passes.
Eli Manning has two Super Bowl wins as a QB labeled as inaccurate, making poor decisions and error prone, sometimes making big plays when it counts in crunch time is all that matters.
