Just thinking with osu absolutely loaded backfield this up coming season who bows out first? I personally believe warren ball is as good as gone and maybe even brionte Dunn, with urban offense moving more toward the Ezekiel Elliot and dontre Wilson mold plus brax getting his 12-15 carries a game plus with the "Percy" position getting at least 5+ carries a game there is just not enough touches for everybody and I think those two bolt.
Actually, I believe Meyer has indicated he wants to add a power game to the spread. We saw a little of that last year. UFM is always looking to steal ideas from the Oregons of CFB. This is one thing everyone may be stealing from him in the future.
Not going anywhere
"Playing here is the closest thing to heaven on earth..." - Brian Rolle
You should read Ross Fultons breakdown of the offense (11 warriors).
It will help answer your question.
crack is a terrible drug...please get help soon
I was just thinking that 'just thinking' is not your strong suit. Maybe you should consider leaving personnel decisions to the grown folks.
Why would you think a guy that took a RS for medical reasons is as good as gone? Particularly because Ball is supposed to be an upstanding kid and great teammate. Those guys are generally less likely to transfer.
I disagree. I like the fact that what we are building is different from Oregon in that we are incorporating a Power Run game, not what amounts to the rebirth of then Run and Gun (Oregon).
The difficulty with what Oregon runs is that, when their running game is shut down by a defense like Alabama's, they become on-dimensional and vulnerable, no matter how many great athletes they have.
Ball and Dunn will stay.
The Father, The Son... well, it's the
The Holy Trinity... as I see it.
and what about penn state Duplic*tor? This opinion may require you to run over to their board for upvotes again...
Not only are Ball and Dunn not going anywhere, I fully expect both to be solid if not spectacular contributors in the coming seasons...maybe not this season but both will end up as very valuable assets.
I don't want to say the OP is on crack because we are loaded in the backfield...but that was a reach bro
I'm really looking forward to platooning fresh players in and out of the no huddle. When the d subs., you snap the ball and catch them with 12 on the field. I think there are touches for everyone. Carlos will have a big year. To touch the ball each player will really have to do something with it. Rock on.. Dontre and Jalin will slant and bubble, Clark Smith Thomas Brown and Spencer will push deep. This is going to be fun.
Eddie George, Simply the best
So people seriously think that between Dunn, Ball, and Smith, no one will transfer? It is hard to believe that Marshall and Wilson will not get a few carries. Elliot brings something different at the position. Having four bigger backs with Hyde, Dunn, Ball, and Smith, one will likely transfer.
Urban has raised the talent level here and is bringing in those not afraid to compete. There is still so many carries for players. Some will transfer.
Cleveland Orchestra Baby!! World's greatest!! The Brown's wet dream is to be them. The Ohio State University-Where the Illibuck Lives!
We a actually saw a TON of it last year.
Carlos Hyde? Hellloooooo..... I think the power back in Meyer's offense is here to stay.
You can't handle the truth
Like you and the other idiots here y'all are not making sense. This up coming season Dunn will be a true soph and ball with be a rfreshman, with miller 15+ carries a game and Hyde15+ carries a game and smith 5-6 and Percy position 7-8 these guys will barely see the field and ball if at all. Their not gonna sit around forever and wait for garbage time to get some touches when they could star at Mac schools.
No Wilson is not a rb but do you seriously believe a guy that played rb in high school and has the kind of speed no other back on the roster has will not get a few carries?? I doubt it.
Mike Mitchell is faster than him.
We may have lost the battle......but not the war.
He will get a few carries--no doubt. He's more of an all purpose player.
How about getting the facts before you start shit!! These kids aren't going anywhere but you're running your mouth starting rumors that affect their feelings. Ball may be starting by the end of the year and Dunn will be right behind him. There....how's that for a little positive news instead of your jibberish!
