Hey, be nice to the drunk people, they have feelings too
I dream of a day when chickens can cross the road without having their motives questioned.
To the OP:
It wouldn't surprise me if one of the two (Dunn or Ball) eventually transfer, but I think it's more likely to be Dunn.
Ball is a Columbus kid, commited early and never waivered, and I honestly think he has more talent than Dunn. I believe Ball would have been the higher ranked of the duo coming out of HS if he could have stayed healthy, and his odds of doing that are better at OSU where he could be part of a RB platoon.
I think Dunn could go after this year potentially depending upon a few things, if things dont click for him and he struggles with the playbook again. If he doesnt get the carries this year he expects to get, If he somehow gets surpassed by Elliot in the pecking order, and lastly depending upon what is brought in with regards to the RB position. It would be possible to see him as the one to go in the spring of next year after the next class is signed. I dont think it is very likely but if I had to pick one then he would be the one... Watching the QB position will be interesting as well, Jones could be gone next year at that spot I would say most likely, tons of potential but will have to earn his spot against Barrett and who knows if Watson will be in the mix... The good thing about this situation is it is better to be talking about someone that might leave than who the hell is gonna step up and play at these spots, I like me some depth!
But it wasn't close to what Meyer is looking for. That was my point of saying "a little of it." We agree, and UFM is tweaking it as we speak.
What are you thinking Meyer is looking for? The running game was pretty solid when Hyde got into rythym, with the games he missed he would have had much bigger stats at years end and if he would have had a bowl game to include into that as well, what he missed around 3-31/2 games essentially if you include a post season game.... IMO the passing game improving would have greatly opened up the run even more so.... thinking that Meyer if anything didnt want to have to rely on miller so much to run... as he improves in the passing game I think its there that we will see what Meyer is wanting to have as a whole....
Urban was "Oregon" at Utah before Oregon was Oregon. I don't care who stay and who goes. I do know the best will play and that's all that matters.
true story there my friend, talent being an issue on the roster will be a thing of the past... not that we havent really had it but, it will only continue to grow from this point out.... Options will be plentiful
Although I don't agree with his speculations, and I don't like throwing out wild guesses because they sometimes get legs, I still don't understand the need for people on this site to constantly insult people for stating an opinion. That is why we are here. This also goes for the post before you who said "crack is a terrible drug...please get help soon." Lighten up, guys.
I thought it was pretty funny myself..... just a joke was how i saw it.
I see there being alot of extra carries available now that there are more playmakers on this team. I don't see Brax running the ball 10-15 times every game anymore. He is dangerous with the ball so he will still get carries but we now have the players to take carries away from him. I see Hyde, Smith and Dunn/ Ball all getting decent carries along with the flex players.
