There was just a report on 97.1 the. ticket here in Detroit on the Valenti And Foster show that police were called to the hotel where the MSU hoops team was staying in order too break up a fight between two MSU players.
No names have been rumored. at this point, anyone head anything on this?
Also, see if Izzo has benched anyone, or someone is back at the hotel tonight with the "flu". LOL

MSU Players Allegedly Brawl At Penn State’s Nittany Lion Hotel

DETROIT (CBS Detroit) Two Michigan State University basketball players battled in the Nittany Lions’ hotel Wednesday morning, police confirmed.
The incident allegedly happened at 11 a.m. at the Nittany Lion Inn, the Centre County Report first Tweeted. It was described as a “verbal argument that turned physical.”
“Two MSU players were in the lobby and they ended up having, first a verbal dispute, then it ended up turning physical, and then after the punches were thrown, one guy shoved another into a wall,” Penn State University Police Chief Tyrone Parham said.
He added the scuffle involved bothplayers getting punched in the face.
Both suffered cuts and scrapes, and the hotel wall was damaged, he said, adding the investigation is ongoing.
The players are not named. It’s unclear how or if this will affect tonight’s game between the two college rivals, who are scheduled to play beginning at 7:30 p.m.
A call to Michigan State was not immediately.
Ever since Tom Izzo flirted with the Cavs a couple of years back, things largely haven't gone right down in Sparty land. I wonder what's up?
"Playing here is the closest thing to heaven on earth..." - Brian Rolle
"Tonight, my butt's sore." - Mike Krzyzewski 11-29-11
Did they also get the Drake Harris news?
We may have lost the battle......but not the war.
Since when is a fight between two people a "brawl"?
Just heard it was over some "friendly" ribbing that went too far. both will not start tonight, seems like there will be no implications long term. f Izzo was going to punish them at PSU is the perfect and immediate response rather than this weekend vs tOSU
Teamates get into fights all the time but it usually happens at practice not in the hotel lobby of the Nitany Lion Inn. If those walls could talk.
They played tonight against PSU so I'm thinking they would definitely play against us
Izzo played them because he was worried they were going to lose, they can't bitch about tressel anymore IMO.
They should have been sent home but it's clear winning, no matter what the cost is, is most important. But instead with the game tied in the 2nd half with 16 minutes he puts them in.
Why exactly were PSU players at the MSU hotel? They just enjoy hanging out at the opposing team's hotel? I understand the escalation to a fight, but were the PSU players actively looking for one?
