Yeah am not saying the kid wasn't talented or didn't mean much to his team. He did.
But that Bama win, was a team win, Texas A&M's defense played well also, they actually stopped the run better than UGA in the SEC title, you can say they were up by 20 in the 1st half, but they got turnovers and stops also. Plus that last interception was the defense.
But Mante teo had been bring it for 12 games straight and the emotional life line of his team, am not saying this because of his losses in his personal life, but if he was an offensive player, he wins.
No one was talking about Manziel before #1 Bama. Then every QB should win the heisman after they knockout the #1 team every year in CFL .
Too logical, too obvious, too simple, therefore unacceptable to this board...
Spot on. +1 for you good sir.
I agree Teo was the best football player in college this year - unfortunately that isn't who wins the Heisman - if Suh didn't win it 4 years ago then unless you return kicks and play offense you can forget about a pure defensive player winning it. Manziel put up huge numbers and if you watched Texas A&M games to say the kid didn't deserve it is totally false. The BAMA game was just the stage to show what he did basically all year.
Bunk shit!!! 1-2 leading his team in their 3 big games.
POST IT SOME WHERE ELSE
You'll suddenly wake up and realize you were dreaming.
Looks at how many close games ND played in with average teams and bad teams.. They got beat by Stanford in OT and they should of lost to Pitt.
Buckeye in Florida
well A&M isn't 13-0 neither, so what's the point.
Haha.. I don't mind man... People can upvote or downvote.. Doesn't change my mind on Manziel winning. I'd rather see him win than Te'o.
Teo's ND team should of lost to Pitt and Stanford. Beg to differ now?
The point is how much better was Te'o than the like of Shazier? I thought the Heismen was the person that is the best. Not a motivator or an emotion test.
Now you're confusing me.. You believed Te'o deserved the Heismen or not? If you posted that thread, now I don't see your standpoint.
