On the road. He's been arrested, now this, he drinks, he gambles, and there is no doubt in my mind he is receiving improper benefits. I don't even hate the guy, but he needs to get his act together. One more question, how could he afford courtside tickets to consecutive NBA games? I could be wrong, but there is something fishy.
EDIT: Now, everyone has gotten speeding tickets, but he just needs to settle down a bit. He's already living an NFL life in college. Does anyone else remember that racial fight he got into at a bar in the offseason? I'm sure his coaches won't be too pleased about this--it's not good for the locker room.

We may have lost the battle......but not the war.
He gonna be busted.
EDIT: Nvm, I think he's asking for it, now that I think of it.

I don't know.
You play with fire, you will get burned.
I agree, he is pushing it. I wouldn't be that surprised if he gets kicked off the team eventually. Rules are rules. Heisman trophies aren't "Get Out of Jail Free" cards. Well, maybe in the SEC, but that's another story.
His girlfriend is a model, I'm sure she could make some big money. I'm assuming if they're dating, it's not a violation for her to buy stuff for him, but I don't know how that works.
He's going to have to kill someone on video stating who he is and the time and date to be kicked off the team.
In that case, all football players should just date rich girls.
just like one of my favorite old sayings, "don't marry for money, just hang around the rich and marry for love".
Apparently the family has money, in that case there is nothing wrong with what he's doing. I believe the gambling was at a legal casino. Idk how old he is but he's a kid (and a legal adult) enjoying his moment in the spotlight. I'd do the exact same thing in his shoes
When I was 19 I got arrested, drank, gambled, and probably had a few tickets by that time. Pretty sure that time is called college. I understand he has more to lose than most of us, but he's doing what most of us did in college
Dumpster fire waiting to happen.
Yeah, we all scored courtside tickets to NBA games. If they were free, it's a violation. However, his insurance policy is that he's now in the SEC.
BTW, he's a red-shirt freshman and he's 21 years old?
It's college... however, he is the Heisman Trophy winner and he plays in the $EC.... where there is smoke, there is fire! Give this abut a year and the $h!t will hit the fan!
Except when there's smoke in the SEC the fire is always doused before it can grow.
Really? The speeding ticket is where he crossed the line? Give me a break, stop crying about everything.
Read that the AD at Texas A & M called his parents in for a heart to heart meeting about his appearances in casinos and bars. He told them that he's a college student-athlete and as a heisman winner, it's time to grow up. Hopefully the parents will listen and back off on the $$$ for fun he receives from them.
I have to admit mattc, any time I see any activity now from you I have this almost uncontrollable urge to downvote you. and it doesn't matter what you post. In all honesty I am very selective of my votes - however there is this little dv demon growing inside of me that is fixated on you. Can't put a finger on why something like this could possibly happen, but know that I am truly sorry when I succumb to this beast.
*oh and I wasn't the one who dv'ed this thread
