And I shall rejoice in victory for another 365 days over That School Up North.
I'm totally agreeing withyou on this one.
I hope Ginn gives him a good long talk
From being the first commit, at a pipeline school... To potentially decommitting... If he doesn't want to be a Buckeye, we don't want him as a Buckeye.
Ginn is the reason why these kids at glenville post so many fucking games. If he goes to visit bama with Lattimore than I will be pissed.
Here's an early verbal who should be trying to recruit Lattimore to osu and instead he's going to bama with Lattimore.
urban needs to tell ginn sr.to have his kids cut that shit out.
We may have lost the battle......but not the war.
Regardless of whatever his true intentions are for the visit make no mistake- securing his eventual LOI is a battle royal between Satan and Urb. Kief was one thing, losing MJ as well would be a haymaker felt from Bama to Ohio.
Why would we melt down...we have better OL prospects looking at us...Prince, Bookster, and Ruble (IMO). Let him go...yawn
I wouldn't say that. I think Jones will make a great guard for whichever team he decides to play for.
It pisses me off because he went out of his way, on Christmas Day, to be the first commit in this class. Nobody twisted his arm to commit so it only makes him look bad because of the very words that came out of his own mouth. Don't say one thing and do another. I'd be fine with the trip if it were different circumstances. I have faith that Urb would quickly replace him with an equal if not better prospect.
Maybe Meyer encouraged him to go with Lattimore?
Prince and Bookster are OT's...OG's cannot move to OT but OT's can move to OG's...that's why true OT's are coveted so much...last years NFL draft proves my point. Ruble is 6'9 and with Mickey working him for a year he would be a monster.
Knox is elite...Jones is nice but he's not Knox. In reality there should only be 3-4 top 300 OG's in the recruiting rankings. Let him go...We have moved Price, Farris, and probably Mingher to OL...we have OG's in the pipeline. We need OT's anyways.
It would be different if he was taking a visit to Georgia Tech or whatever, but he is truly interested in Bama. Saban will establish a full press for him and might even flip him.
I understand the frustration but if a kid wants to go see other schools, so be it. They are only 18 years old once and a lot of these kids have never been to many of the places that they are going to visit. At that age, I could have been fully commited to OSU but I promise I would have visited Miami, USC and 2-3 other schools in the south just to have some fun on somebody else's dime. In the end, it will be very difficult for these players to leave everything they know, friends, family, coaches etc... To play at a school that they had no ties to growing up.
Let the kids have their fun and we will see you on national signing day holding a Buckeye hat.
Stop freaking out! You guys react like little girls, geez...
You bring up valid points, but Jones possesses that coveted mean streak that Meyer drools over. It's hard to teach that.
Guys, be careful what you say. If you start bad mouthing him, you just may add fuel to any fire that may be burning inside him that has him considering switching. Keep it positive.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder
No one is freaking out, we're discussing the visit plans.
I appreciate you posting tweets and stuff...but you are commenting/posting like you are "in the know" Your one post about Quentin Nelson and Elijah Hood having nothing to do with his commitment is damn near verbatim from Alex.
Post, comments heck yes its a free world but make sure you are "giving credit where credit is due" I've noticed quite a few of your posts and threads lately are "re-treads" and they sure read as if "you are in the know" when I have seen your just cut and paste info from others.
Jbook, elite etc. always give credit to where they got it....you need to do the same
How do you KNOW Saban is going to full court press this kid and his interest is genuine in Bama, vs an all paid free trip.? There are kids that take OV's to Columbus Urban doesn't full court press..
