Kansas got beat tonight to go to 27-6, and if Missouri wins the Big 12 tourney, they go to 29-4.
Will Missouri go to #1 in the midwest with OSU #2?
Lots of negative attention around Boeheim and Syracuse, they got beat. If you remember Big East ref's hosed WVU and another team late with blocks that were easy goal tends to give Syracuse wins. I hope the Orange tank again in the tourney, something smells there with all the continual allegations and Boeheim always claiming innocence and no knowledge of anything.
Good win for OSU, Purdue came in winning 6 of 8 and with a lot of confidence.
What if Missouri lost to Baylor and we beat Michigan and MSU, do we get a #1 seed maybe knowing we lost at Kansas without Sullinger?

I think Kentucky ends up in the Midwest. I want no part of Missouri having to play them in St. Louis, I'd rather match up with them out West.
Yea, Im thinking it will be Mizzou west, Kentucky Midwest, UNC/ Duke winner South and Syracuse east
We are coming for you Bama!
Kentucky ends up in the south, with the first round in Louisville and second round close by in Atlanta. With closer seeding to home, they are not going any where else. No way Kentucky goes any further than Atlanta as the #1 seed, and they will not travel farther than that or Louisville.
Missouri could still end up the #1 seed out west, and we would not see them either. Missouri has no depth, bench or size, they are beatable. You think OSU fans would not travel to St. Louis? Not so sure Missouri advances that far with tourney styles any way, the tourney is about a lot of half court offense and defense, they try and out score people and virtually have no depth.

No way is Duke a #1 seed....they may get it but I just don't think they are that good
North Carolina will be in the South in Atlanta.
I just mapquested Lexinton, KY to St. Louis, it's 5.5 hours. Lexington, KY to Atlanta is just over 6 hours. St. Louis is actually closer. Like I said, Kentucky will be in the Midwest playing in St. Louis. UK can still play their first round games in Louisville playing in the midwest.
East - Syracuse
Midwest - Kentucky
South - North Carolina
West - Mizzou
OSU would be DWARFED in St. Louis as far as fanbases is concerned if playing Missouri there. St. Louis to Missouri is the equivalent of Cleveland to Ohio State. I grew up in St. Louis as a Mizzou fan, trust me, we don't want that playing in front of 40k Mizzou fans.
You can map quest all you want, every expert that predicts these brackets has Kentucky in the south, and they have connections out the whazoo, just sat in on mock committees a week ago and have inside information as well.
Something tell me they know more about where Kentucky is going than you, since they do it for a living and they are all in consensus with Kentucky to the south region, starting in Louisville and then going to Atlanta.
Missouri still has to beat Baylor which is no gimme.
I will follow every expert that has Kentucky in the south, something tells me they are all right here.
North Carolina probably was going out west, with round one in Greensboro.
Come back Sunday night when Kentucky wins the SEC and gets put in the South region, you can explain how your mapquest logic was defied by every major media outlets predicting Kentucky to the south thru tonight.
I agree they aren't that good, but if they go deeper or beat UNC in the Tourney IDK how they dont get the 1 seed because they would be 2-1 against the heels
All I know is I would rather play Mizzou in St. Louis than Kentucky or UNC on any court any day

Noticed Jerry Palm from CBS had us playing the winner of 7 Vandy/ 10 UCONN. I think UCONN would win that game and dont fancy playing any team in the 2nd round with 2 lottery picks
Was just making the point that St. Louis is closer than Atlanta, which you were ignoring in saying they won't make them travel farther than Atlanta.
The biggest part of it is ranking the top seeds 1-4 and making sure 1 plays 4 and 2 plays 3. The South is playing the West, and East is playing the Midwest. RIght now I see the seeding as:
3. North Carolina
I don't see them moving Missouri ahead of North Carolina, meaning if Kentucky indeed goes to the South region, then Missouri will go out West. I guess we'll see how it goes. Doesn't change the fact that STL is closer to UK than ATL and I want no part of Mizzou in STL.
I heard on cbs sports and espn that if osu or mich st wins the tournament the big ten will get a #1 seed in the tourney.
It's just hard for me to understand how the best conference in the country does not get a #1 seed
I am certainly pulling for the good guy's!
I think we should get it ahead of Duke if they win the ACC and we win the B1G, but the ncaa wont see it tht way. In the end we have no one to blame but ourselves (and the B1G refs ). If we dont lose a stupid game to Illinois and blow it on Senior day against Wisky, we are easily a 1 seed
Missouri still has to beat baylor and that task is not going to be easy.Baylor playing good basketball right now.
You could be right on UNC to the South and Kentucky to the midwest, I relooked at the regional games and travel this am.
So if that does work out, good call. It was late and I just looked at OSU vs. staying away from Kentucky.
Good call if right.
Jerry Palm now has OSU as the #1 seed out west.
He has OSU #1, Kansas #2, Marquette #3 and Murray State #4 and OSU opens up in Pitt.
Round 2 on Phoenix.
If that did work out, we play the UNC, MSU, Baylor Georgetown bracket in the FF and miss Kentucky all together, man I hope Palm is right, he is usually pretty good.
Henson's injury for UNC is going to be telling as well.
If it's the same committee as last year, maybe Ohio State gets a 2 seed with Kentucky as the 1, Syracuse as the 3, UNC as the 4, and Missouri as the 5.
The one thing in our favor is that the Big Ten is hands-down the best conference in basketball. That definitely helps in the seeding process.
