Big Ten going for fourth straight win in the Challenge. Thoughts on each game:
#21/rv Minnesota at Florida State (rv/rv) 7:15 p.m. ESPN2 -- FSU has won 4 games after a season-opening loss to South Alabama. Minnesota's lone loss was to Duke. Minnesota 67-64
#14/13 North Carolina at #1/1 Indiana 9:30 p.m. ESPN -- UNC's lone loss was to Butler in Hawaii. IU is unbeaten but largely untested. Indiana 83-79
#18/18 NC State at #3/3 Michigan 7:30 p.m. ESPN -- NC State was knocked off by Oklahoma State. Michigan won the preseason NIT. Michigan 74-69
Maryland (-/rv) at Northwestern 9:15 p.m. ESPN2 -- Maryland took Kentucky to the limit in its opener before falling. NU unbeaten but hasn't played anybody. Maryland 63-62
Iowa at Virginia Tech 7:15 p.m. ESPNU -- Tech 5-0 vs. no competition. Iowa just lost at Wichita State. Tech 75-70
Nebraska at Wake Forest 9:15 p.m. ESPNU -- Wake is 3-2 with losses to UConn and Iona. Wake Forest 67-60
Purdue at Clemson 7:15 p.m. ESPN -- Purdue off to rough 2-3 start. Clemson lost to Gonzaga. Clemson 80-70
#4/4 Ohio State at #2/2 Duke 9:30 p.m. ESPN -- Duke won the Atlantis event with wins over VCU and Louisville and also beat Kentucky previously. OSU largely untested so far. Cameron too much to overcome. Duke 81-73
Georgia Tech at #22/22 Illinois 9 p.m. ESPN2 -- Illinois 7-0 after win in Maui. Tech's lone loss to Cal. Illinois 72-68
#13/14 Michigan State at Miami (Fla.) 7:30 p.m. ESPN -- MSU struggling at home against lesser comp, but does have win over Kansas. Miami 3-1 with loss to Fla Gulf Coast, MSU comes to play. Michigan State 67-60
Boston College at Penn State 9:15 p.m. ESPNU -- Penn State 3-2, BC 2-4, and no Frazier for PSU. Penn State 61-59
Virginia at Wisconsin (rv/rv) 7 p.m. ESPN2 -- Both teams are 4-2, Kohl Center too much for most visitors. Wisconsin 58-55
So give me Big Ten 7-5

Always enjoy your educated prognostications Steve.
Obviously I'd be ecstatic if the Buckeyes escape Durham with a win but I'd also be happy with a single digit loss.
They were overrated last year but Duke looks legit right now.
Thanks for posting this. I basically agree except I think Nortwestern's Princeton sytle offense will befuddle Maryland. Also I could see Iowa upsetting VT. Could you also put your baskeball posts on Bucknutin but Net ?
I love UNC +10!!!
best of luck
MSU struggled with PG (6th man) Travis Trice out with a concussion...he is back this game. Additionally starting SG Gary Harris is probably back after a shoulder strain. With these 2 back they are more the team that beat Kansas, not the team that struggled with 2 of their top 3 guards out.
Really concerned about no post game for the Bucks. I am afraid Duke will remember the beatdown they received last year and come out firing. As much as I hate to: Duke 82 Bucks 69
I think Northwestern beats Maryland, I'll take Brasky too

Indiana 83, North Carolina 59 -- Hoosiers were clicking on nearly every cylinder
Michigan 79, NC State 72 -- Wolverines tried to give it away but held on at end
Minnesota 77, Florida State 68 -- Huge road win for Gophers
Virginia Tech 95, Iowa 79 -- Wow, I thought Hawks would be better than this
Nebraska 79, Wake Forest 63 -- I missed this one. Either Huskers are better than we think or Wake is REAL bad.
Maryland 77, Northwestern 57 -- NU just could not stay in contact with the Terps who killed them on boards 42-15
I am 5-1 on the Challenge so far, Big Ten leads 4-2. Big Ten needs 3-3 on Wed to win the Cup. I have Big Ten going 4-2 with losses by Purdue (at Clemson) and OSU (at Duke).
I was 4-2
Lost on NW and Iowa...
I hope you didn't bet.
