Former OSU recruit Nick Montana is transferring from Washington to Mt. San Antonio (junior) College in Pomona, CA. Meanwhile Nate Montana is transferring from Montana (a former walk on at ND) to West Virginia Wesleyan.

It gets confusing with the last name Montana and going to Montana.
I don't know what they're looking for but damn...ND to Montana to WVa Weslyan and Washington to a community junior college?
I guess that neither football or a high-value degree are the priorities.
I remember Tressel told Montana he wouldn't recruit another QB until he made his choice. Thank goodness he didn't come here. We didnt need any more Tressel quarterbacks that couldn't throw.
Lol please elaborate tressel quarterbacks that couldnt throw... This could get fun pretty quick
geez, seems like th elder montana should be about 30 years old by now???? no, not joe
Montana was a funny whiff in Nevadabuck history.
He said Montana was a lock to OSU. Nick and Joe both wanted OSU.
When it didn't happen, his excuse/cover story was that mom didn't want OSU. I had no idea that the recruit in question AND his dad who happens to be THE GREATEST QUARTERBACK OF ALL TIME could be simply vetoed by good old mom despite being outnumbered.

Formerly known as Hodgepodge.
And Gardner who wanted to play here went north.
Can you imagine if you are joe Montana living in palo alto and your son tells you he is going to play at a Juco in west Virginia. I bet he will enjoy the commute to see those games.

You mean like Troy Smith?
What a joke
"The only thing That Team Up North will be tasting this year is the salty tears of defeat" - UFM
Hard to live up to daddy's reputation. That's one of the reason I hated some of Tress's legacy scholarship offers. It's one thing to give a legacy a schollie if they are great, it's another to give on cause they have one laying around. I don't think we will see Urban do that..
I don't know why you think they have any priorities whatsoever. These two boys will inherit gazillions (estimated). Maybe dad is just happy with a degree. Let's be honest, if it were me, I'm choosing between a life of physical beating and concussions coupled with grueling schedules and curriculum or enjoying the perquisites of youthful wealth. Like the tiger asked "Do I really need to holler?" Joe Montana is intelligent man, I assume, which fully understands the "true" cost of NFL fame & riches. If he loves his children, I imagine he probably doesn't want them out there when they are well provided for. That's the reality for those two boys. I, for one, don't blame them.
Saying that the Tressel era QB's were bad just makes you look like a jackass!!!
Smith and Pryor alone would be enough.
You have enemies? Good. That means you've stood up for something, sometime in your life.
