I wish these kids the best as they are making choices they feel are best for their future. Can't blame them for that. We need some MOJO to come our way cuz we have gotten our butts kicked in the last month or so. LOST out on some big time gets. I have all the faith in our staff but being a huge buckeye fan I am a little concerned about the amount of big time recruits we have lost out on and there are a few that haven't announced that will not be in our favor. That being said great to be a buckeye fan but very frustrating to see these big time players going other places. Kwon will be the next to go else where. Just my opinion. Ive been wrong allot
Read a bunch of posts just like this one last year at this same time....refresh my memory...how did Urban finish last year? It really sucks to be a Buckeye fan with no talent at all coming to CBus.
People forget so quickly. Clark, Bell, Wilson, EZE......
We may have lost the battle......but not the war.
Think of Urban meyer as "the miami heat"... he turns it on, when its time to turn it on! You expect him to win, he expects to win but the only fun out of it would be falling behind for a second to allow others to feel as though there is a slight chance they may win. Then all the sudden "the inevitable happens" Right now, just like last year around this time i picture him playing golf and spending quality time wit his family. While other schools are excited abt a recruit here and a recruit there, when urban puts the press on he'll flip the guys he wants and end up with a top three class on signing day. I hope during this period he is away from football, and not stressing out in the least bit. U see i want Urban for 20 plus yrs, not burning out in 4 yrs due to stress related issues. We as fans should supply urban with "the benefit of the doubt" the man has not let us down in the least bit. As far as im concerned this lull in the action is all apart of his plan. Lets enjoy every facet of "Urbans way", even the slow periods.... at least until we end up out of the top 4! Sounds fair enough right?

Wait till we're 26-0 with a NC in our pocket and they will all be on our buckNUTS.
Oh God. Once I get my fresh 25 upvotes, I'll hit you up. Post of the year quality right there.
Correct me if I'm wrong....but I don't think a single recruit signed a LOI yet???? What matters most...what a recruit says he'll do in May....or the letter the recruit signs and faxes in February?

I am glad these kids are committing early and not burning us late. We are still in on wayyyyyyyyyyyy too much talent to be sweating. Michigan should be sweating more than us because they are only in on about 5 more elite talents and the rest are pipe dreams.
This is what happens when you are recruiting big boys...the elite talent. It is not gonna be easy but look at the huge ending to the recruiting season we had last year...even Meyer did not expect to land those 3 studs late...huge for OSU...probably happen this year as well. Enjoy the ride.
Following this recruiting game long time. May is never a time to say what you just said.
First off - Meyer is best recruiter OSU has ever had.
Secondly - he understands how the modern game of recruiting needs to be handled as having multiple levels of plans.....he's got A,B,C,D, and even E back up plan for each spot.
Thirdly - he will not be conservative with the offers like some have. Now don't be fooled by all the players choosing other schools.
That's obviosly going to happen when you target double the amount we used to have.
Next- Don't forget about the OL prospect in PA and MO...From what I'm Told -- these 2 are hot. They are not getting the press or attention
right now that others are.....
Lastly - OSU is targeting recruiting areas we never have before and we are even looking at the JUCO level. When you have a head coach
that demands that each of his assistants scour the country for the best players... they will do the work. Results will come. OSU is too good
of a place and a very good sell. WE have the product and the staff.

Buckeyes should just pack it in and go Division II.
As the year goes on, every single college gets more bad news than good news. It is the nature of the beast.

Bro, it's not been all sunshine and rainbows lately. But this is a homeboard, pessimism isn't allowed.
+1 Awesome point MattC... People need to just take a chill pill and drink some Red Berry Ciroc with sprite..lol
Add some cranberry to that and its wonderful.
Who's Zead..Zeads dead baby.
We are offering a ton more prospects that the old coaching staff. With more offers, there will be the same number of acceptees but significantly more rejections.
There is absolutely nothing to remotely worry about folks..........we are not going to get every highly touted recruit. Theses kids are going to make the choice that's best for them.....we have signed our share of great recruits thus far.
All we have to do is sit back and enjoy the show that will continue to come our way every year in the Shoe......
Sarah sorry about the Herpes.
