He maybe worried about how this affects the Beercats (sic). BTW I hope they serve beer at this. I will be there NO DOUBT.
Sarah sorry about the Herpes.
When I said that I didn't realize that the stadium was closed for construction. With the Shoe shut down I think it is the best alternative. ND has recruited Cincinnati as well if not better than UND and although I am not sure it will bring a lot potential new fans - I don't see casual football fans going to a spring game - it is good to reconnect with the Cincinnati fans. I do think it is a bad idea if the Shoe is available. If you have a family of 5 you are not driving 2 hours to Cincinnati for the spring game and you may not be able to afford to go to a game in Ohio Stadium.

I don't see it effecting Cincinnati much. Cincinnati has rarely competed with OSU for recruits and if so it is typically a case of position preference.
Well, I guess I don't think it is that big of a deal even if the Shoe wasn't under construction. Personally, I always wondered why schools keep playing their Spring Game in their home stadium. A school like Ohio State could play in Cleveland, Cincinnati, heck maybe even play in Pittsburgh and Indianapolis.
I was reaching man as i know you cheer the beercats also. I hope longworth is open for this. We can tailgate together if not find a dd and I live close, but i would recommend driving from my location.
Listen for me it works I'm a cincy Guy born and raised. I finally got my wife and brother inlawful to buy into a 2 day trip for the spring game last year. And the fact of the matter is I'm fing pumped. We have held season tickets since the day they became available here. I'm sure lingworth will be open I just spoke to q particulate someone that helps make those decisions and was told why in the hell would we not sell out longworth. I have friends and family that either own or run many of the bars or restraunts here in town hit me up and ill set up deals for drinks and party before and after the game.
I don't give a damn for the whole state of BITCHAGAIN!!!!!!!!
This could be great for me and others then haha.
If the shoe is out of commission then what can you do? It's a lost day for recruiting purposes because you lose the ambiance of the campus/game day experience. Having Mike Brown involved just makes me feel dirty. If you want marketing, play it at Heinz field and kidnap Dorian Johnson while we are there.
Just don't tell any of the recruits that they could grow up and play for the Bengals some day.
