So I have uverse for about a month or so now and just bought a new Samsung 3D LED tv. It seems the HD isn't very good on it, does anyone know what could be wrong? The tv is 1080 and have the best hdmi cord you can get. Maybe something with picture settings? Please help buckeye nation some important all star games are coming up!
I have time warner and it might be the same for Att. Anyway, my cable box had standard def channels and high def channels. Are you sure you're looking at the correct channels? Because there will be a huge difference.
Yeah I've had HD so I know it's the right stations it just doesn't seem very good. I hve time Warner at my rents house and there picture seems waaayyyy better. I don't know if it's the connection or 3D or what.
It's probably not the tv. I work for att and have had uverse myself. My picture is far better w/ my directv than it ever was w/ uverse. Same tv. When I was having the uverse installed at my previous address, I stil had insight until the uverse went in. I thought the picture was bad on the uverse, the tech said it was my tv so I took the hdmi out of the uverse DVR and plugged back into the insight DVR put it on the same channel and showed the prem tech how much worse the picture was. They tried a few things but it but it never helped. I even had 73 meg of signal so it wasn't a line issue. I have yet to see in person a uverse picture as good as my directv. I hate to say that being an att technician myself, but it's true
,,I haven't mastered my Uverse system yet-- but HD channels begin at 1001, and repeat the non HD channel with +1000.
Try the setting in the uverse receiver. I know on my directv receiver there is a button you can switch from and format you want. Also check the setting through the receiver as well. Check online for best picture setting for the TV you have.

Ok thanks for the help guys
Thanks guys I appreciate the help almost wish I went with direct tv
I have had AT&T for a month or so and the TV is awful. Atleast 5 times a day it will freeze/have to reboot if not more. F-ing annoying as crap. They have replaced the box once because the DVR didn't work the whole first week I had it. They already have me on their bad side as they didn't show up for the installation appointment and I had to wait 4 days before they could install it. I bitched and moaned enough to get $25+ off my monthly bill. I also have a $15 credit to my account right now. I plan to call in and complain more once a bill comes through to get more off.
As for the HD, it isn't quite as good as comcast/charter that I have had in the past. It is still decent, but I will agree it isn't up to par with other cable companies.
The internet however has been pretty good. That is the one thing I do like about AT&T is that if one goes out, the other can still be working fine since they are on different "lines" or cables.
Overall, its been an Ok experience. I have the Uverse 300 and 3.0mps internet.
whilst there are several subscribers on board; does anyone have problems with their remote?
I have 2 TVs, and 'must' use both, since neither can solely provide all remote functions.
