Can't imagine how much money was spent to prosecute this lady, but she is finally starting to taste her own medicine. Anyone else out there following the case? Girlfriend started me on it, and I've been eerily hooked ever since.
I no longer watch the news or keep track of current events. Who is this lady and what did she do?
Edit: Nevermind. She shot and stabbed her boyfriend to death.

I live in Phoenix. I have no choice but to follow it. Biggest and most expensive case in state history. That bitch is crazy and deserves everything she is going to get. Who the hell stabs somebody 27 times then shoots them in the face in self defense? C'mon Man!
I am glad its over
Death penalty please.
Link to some kind of news story so the rest of us can catch up please.
Know why "hilarious" is such a funny word? Because it's hilarious.
go to HLN website, it's all that's been on their front page for four months....I've DVR'd it every day and the woman and I have watched it every night from the start...Juan Martinez, maybe the best Prosecutor I've ever seen...beautiful job...
BTW....just the cost of the defense was 1.7 million....tax payers foot the bill....
HLN is the national television network that focuses on the “must-see, must-share” stories of the day.
The cost of legal fees and the costs of prisons is rediculous. I simply don't understand how shit can cost as much as they claim unless people are just stealing money like bonnie and Clyde.
If you find yourself itching for more, the trial itself is all over youtube. The prosecutor just tears through each and every one of the defense's witnesses and experts. Unfortunately for Travis Alexander, this story is made for TV. The fortunate part of the story is that Jodi Arias will pay for it, and our justice system didn't fail.
You wouldn't see this stuff go on in a China court. They would have executed her a long time ago. They don't screw around with the obvious. Common sense rules in their courts. Money would not be wasted.
And the infamous McDonald's hot coffee case would not have seen the light of day in their court. Again common sense rules.
You really think its common sense that rules in a communist Chinese court? Wow
$30k/year to house a prisoner here in MI. We've shut down a number of prisons too. Released a lot of people within a program that was designed to help them get on track. It helps some but definitely not the majority. The good thing is they took the colleges out of prisons. I hate knowing that I'm paying for some hack to get a free Bachelor's degree for price of a 7 year sentence just to get out and get a nice ass job with no student loans. All while I'm paying out of the ass for mine... Screw that! College education should be a privilege afforded to those who either pay for it, or earn it for free in scholarships and what not.

I believe I read the cost to be about $2.2 million to prosecute her.
