I grew up in Indy so I'm obviously a big Colts fan, and of course a big Peyton fan. I've never seen a team throw away a game the way the Broncos did tonight. Not on Peyton at all. The secondary played worse than most JV high school teams. Absolutely unbelievable. Unbelievable.
Just shaking my head.
Peyton gets a little blame on that last throw. He is way smarter than that. With that said, Moore is going to wish he never played football for the foreseeable future.
Agreed the secondary played like poo but that last pass was garbage and all Peyton's fault. Terrible decision.
Dear Broncos Nation: The answer is "yes!"
The question is: Will a OT loss in the playoffs when you had the game in the bag still hurt after 26 years?
National President of the Sky is NOT Falling Club
you can't give up 38 pts at home in the playoffs and expect to win. a sloppy performance to end the season.
I never like blaming a loss soley on one guy but damn peyton threw across his body and that interception hurt. But again this loss happend in regulation when the secondary let someone get behind them to give up big yardage that late in the game.
Agree the last pass was a bad decision. He was trying to make something happen, but still not good.
The point is they never should have gotten to OT. More bullsh*t hail marys than on Madden '14.
Hold on. The first INT was not on him. He hit the guy square in the hands, he F'd it up, it popped in the air and was picked off. And the first fumble, as the announcers said, looked very much like like forward motion and should have been an incomplete pass.
He threw for about 300 yards and 3 TDs!!! He played his ass off. Made one bad decision, but so did Flacco. Hell, Flacco just threw it up in the air as far as he could become Denvers DBs ran themselves in circles.
The first one yes...the fumble, you can't justify that..the call stands. There were multiple bad calls throughout.
The last throw is inexcusable for someone of his caliber or experience. he seems to be a great guy, funny as hell on TV but the bottom line he is 9-11 in the playoffs now tied with Brett Farve for most all time. 9-11. Brady is 16-6, Roethlisberger is something like 14-5, shoot even Eli is 8-3 with two rings. or some reason his regular season success doesn't translate to post season. many of his losses are also at home, where he is the favorite etc.
all time playoff records...
Side note, I can't get over is the end of regulation, you have your MVP candidate, two TO's a solid kicker and only need to get to FG range. Makes no sense..

I've never seen a Playoff NFL Team's secondary look worse...terrible...Peyton's last throw was bad...his first pic was all on the receiver bobbling the ball into the air...
But the secondary....
"Your Mouth Keeps Signing Checks that Your Body Can't Cash"
The first interception the defender interfered. You can see in the replay the defender grabbed Decker around the waist and pulled down his left arm before the ball got there, but no flag. There were a few bad/missed calls in that game. In the end the Broncos gave that game away. The secondary played like dog crap! Bailey needs to retire and they need to find a replacement for Rahim Moore. That game should not have went to overtime. This loss hurts. Reminds of the divisional round loss to the Jaguars in 97. Broncos had the number one seed and home field advantage but they played like shit and lost the game. The Broncos went on two win the next two Super Bowls so hopefully history repeats itself.
Haven't seen the presser, Does anyone know what Fox said about taking a knee in regulation with two TO's , PM at the helm and only needing a FG?
How those Bronco's DB's got burnt deep for a TD right before the half, and with 30 some seconds to go is inexcusable.

Kind of a major difference for Manning. Prior to this year, he's play all of his home games indoors and most of the time, his playoff games were at home due to they're high seeding. Might be one of the coldest games he's actually played in.

True, I thought the game was over with only 45 seconds left. Very bad coaching and execution for the prevent defense.
Rest easy bud, you could be a Browns or Bengals fan.
First pick was zero fault of Manning. It was right on target and the PI let to the receiver tipping the ball into the air.
The rest of the game he was great until that last throw, which was inexcusable. He tried to make something happen that wasn't there.
I've never seen a secondary in college even let a team eat them up on bombs that way. On the final TD in regulation the safety had it covered easily. He was coming over on a ball that was floating with plenty of time to make the play. Instead he horribly misjudges the path of the ball and ends up letting it go way over his head. Wow.
If he makes that play the game is over the other way and we are talking about how amazing Peyton was. Instead Manning gets frustrated and does something dumb and now people try to say he is a choke artist. I have no horse in the race, but I pay little mind to his detractors.
'The Hail Mary.'
