The singer from the Monkeyes, not the guy with the locker
From Yahoo! Music: Davy Jones of the Monkees has died of an apparent heart attack at age 66. The singer – who had been on a solo tour this month - complained of chest pains last evening and was admitted to a hospital this morning in Stuart, Florida.
Rest in peace
Not everyone would embrace the Monkees but they were part of an unbelievable era in music. RIP Davey, I always had time to listen to your music. Thanks.
Watched the Monkees every Saturday morning as a kid. And yes, they really did play their own instruments.
My pistol is loaded
I shot Betty Crocker
Deliver colonel sanders down to Davey Jones locker!
Sorry, couldn't resist.
Know why "hilarious" is such a funny word? Because it's hilarious.
Rhymin' and stealin' in a drunken state
And I'll be rockin' my rhymes all the way to Hell's gate
old skool, tippy!!!
but not as old school the monkeys
Fat, drunk, and stupid is no way to go through life, son.

I once knew a man from Nantucket...
Oh, never mind.
Dang, feeling older again...
My wife will be heart broken. She had ahuge crush on him many years back.
Good days, bad days --- always a Buckeye. Time to begin the assault on the 2014 BCS National Championship
They may have been the original hokey boy band... The Beatles were loved by all ages and were regarded as musicians, the Monkees were entertainers with a hokey tv show, but a few catchy songs.
A true icon. It's hard to see another part of my youth go. Rip.
My mom's teenage crush was Davy Jones. She used to play Day Dream Believer all the time was I was a baby. I just saw his story on the biography channel last month, and said she should go see him in concert. She said no. He had one on the 19th I think. I bet she wishes she would have went.
He was a great singer and entertainer. For some reason, he got a bad rap because he was good looking and on that show. He was a very funny, and good person. The world could use more like Davy Jones!
Davey Jones died... Now I'm a bereaver. Sorry I couldn't resist.
”Well, it’s not challenging when you go 12-0 and Urban Meyer is your head coach and you’re wearing the Block O on your shirts.”
Maybe i am a little twisted, but i find that hilarious
