Hey guys...starting to do the research for my honeymoon in August 2013 and wanted to pick some of your brains.
The fiance wants to go to a beach resort, preferably all inclusive, not in Mexico or the United States. I'm looking to keep it under 600 or so a night (around 4k). Can be 4-7 nights. Caribbean, Africa, East Asia all on the table. Really not looking to spend my time at a family resort either, so adults only preferred.
Have a couple different places in mind right now. Lux Maldives, Cayo Coco, Cuba, and a few others.
Thanks in advance for your help!! It's much appreciated!!!
Costa Rica...Tango Mar resort. Not all inclusive but isolated and really beautiful. Very private beach as well as an infinity pool with a swim up bar. There is also forest (with monkeys and other wildlife) you can hike through to get to a waterfall overlooking the beach, and there's a golf course. I've also heard the resorts in Thailand are pretty amazing and inexpensive (once you get there). Congrats and have a good time wherever you end up!
keep your fiance happy....
that will be the tune for the rest of your life.
(think- AMerican and travel friendly when planning .....consider weather trends and time of year)
Congrats! I know it is not in your designated ideal locations, but my wife and I went toto Kauai's North Shore for a week, then a few days in Waikiki. We also looked into the Dominican Republic. They have all inclusives.

Cap Cana in the Dominican is nice all inclusive, stayed a few years ago
Ohio State.......our nuts will kill you
Virgin Islands (no pun intended). St Johns or St Thomas, but especially St Johns.
Tango Mar is great but Tropic Latino in Santa Teresa, CR is exactly what you want.
If you fly into San Jose. Book a flight on a puddle jumper to Tambor airport. There are taxis to take you straight to Mal Pias/Santa Teresa.
I have traveled all over the world and for the money this is near the top.
Planning on taking my lady there next year.
I miss my Kate Upton Picture
Sandals St. Lucia is awesome. I went three years ago for my honeymoon I think it was about 4k but once you get there everything is paid for. We are planning to go back for five year anniversary
Fat, drunk, and stupid is no way to go through life, son.
