“Without winners, there wouldn't even be any civilization.”
I live in the Canton area and my wife is from Jackson township. Excellent schools and neighborhoods. Can't go wrong with GlenOak as well. I have family that is very connected to the Stark County school system, and as a whole, they are very well run. I will throw an option out that is dear to my heart, Lake Mohawk in Malvern. I currently live there and if you are looking for a small community with a lot to offer, this is it. It is a private lake community that offers water skiing, fishing, jetskiing, or whatever water sport you may be into. Best of all, you have to be a property owner to use the lake, which cuts down on the boat traffic. The school district is small, but run well. The football and basketball teams are usually at the top of the IVC conference. Home pricing for a private community is very reasonable and it is no farther from New Philly than any of the Stark county options. I was born and raised on Long Island and spent several years in Columbus (attending tOSU and then some), and absolutley love living in this region. Good luck with your search, I think you will be pleased with what the area has to offer.
Since you have a Nine year old daughter, Make sure you check out Tuscora Park in New Phila. Great place to take kids.
I aim to please...to bad I have bad aim.....
