If the Browns hire Kelly. (Looks like a lock)
Weeden won't work.
McCoy might, but doubt he would last.
Do the Browns go after Tebow? He fits the bill.
Damn this is depressing!
Why would he go after Tebow when he has a QB who ran a somewhat similar offense better named Colt McCoy?
Because McCoy won't last 16 games.
Trade Weeden for Tebow and a late round pick.
While we're considering Urbs old QBs, perhaps Alex Smith should be considered.
Ok , so Mccoy runs an average of 2 times a game, still won't last.
I heard he was already looking into drafting Denard....just kidding.
Smith is a guy I would be VERY interested in. He is a leader and took SF to the NFC title game last year. Fits Chip Kelly offense perfectly. Kelly already said he needs a QB who can throw and Timmy doesn't fit that bill. Hell I'd rather have Pryor than Timmy!
Kelly's offense converted to the NFL will be more like Urban's. Power running from spread formation.
Doesn't appear you have to worry...Kelly looks like he's going to the Eagles
Why the hell would smith come to cleveland????
To $tart, and to play for $aban.
Kelly's QB is in Philly.
Just because tebow can run doesn't mean he fits the system. He doesn't have speed. He is big and bugger this year after adding weight for the failed jets experiment.
A guy that could be intriguing could be the back-up with Pittsburgh...Dennis Dixon. He hasnt looked to bad when given a shot with Pittsurgh but the knock on him is he came from a spread offense and it was Oregon's offense. I am not saying he is the solution, only that it would be interesting.
Yea I'm sure Smith would jump at the chance to live in Cleveland vs. San Fran & go from a playoff caliber team to the bottom of the barrel just to play for the almighty Saban(aint gonna happen) & a few more bucks.
As Spock would say: illogical...
So what you're saying is you think Smith would rather be a backup in San Fran then be a starter in Cleveland?
Wow, you need help....
Tebow needs to go on a mission to Africa and just go away..............................
