(when) they have the #1 overall choice in next year's NFL Draft??? i think Weeden has done well enough to atleast be given a couple years... Barkley had a great week last week and career overall, just not sure you can give up on a 1st rounder after 1 year, especially if he continues to play well... i think you do what the Rams did last year and trade the pick for like 8 picks...
Weeden is fine. He had a terrible week 1 but he is gonna throw for 4000+. WR, cb opposite Haden and safeties. TJ Ward is not developing imo
too bad Clowney's not draft-eligible...
Clowney is an animal, my thoughts exactly. He is a guaranteed stud at next level. USC doesn't exactly have a good history in producing NFL QBs so Barkley kind of scares me, he has the best weapons around him of any QB in college and still can't be a stellar QB. We just drafted a QB, although he's 29 frickin years old. I don't know the answer to this question, there is plenty of areas to improve on though
I agree a CB. T.J has been playing hurt I think he is fine, definately need a FS, a pass rusher on the other side of sheard, and more speed and depth at LB.

Who's the OLB from GA? Definitely wouldn't take Barkley, tough year to get the #1 pick. Typical Browns luck I guess.
Probably Barkley. They are only paying Weeden what you pay a backup anyway. Every time I turned to the LSU game Mingo was jumping offside. I just dont see it with either of the LSU guys. Way too raw to draft that high. Obviously "trade down" is the best choice but thats easier said then done. If they do Id look at guys like Teo or Banks.
I believe that Weeden will be a good quarterback for the Browns. I just think he needs a stud WR to go with Gordon and Richardson. So my plan would be to trade the 1st pick to either Kansas City or whomever needs a QB for multiple picks, then proceed to take Jarvis Jones. If Jones is off the board, I say move down a few spots again and target Keenan Allen/Robert Woods. That sets us up for next years draft to be able to get Clowney which would be absolutely amazing! For the love of god Brownies, listen to me! lol

Don't worry, seems that this topic comes up every year so we can throw Clowney's name around next year in this same thread...
