Well done Ol' Miss now the trick will be to keep the stars and not get put on probation. OSU has a couple of 5 Stars (Bosa, Marshall) which the ranking services refuse to recognize, while keeping Hyde and Roby is the same as landing 2 more. Is it my homer glasses or do recruits who stay uncommitted (but likely to end up in the SEC) suddenly get a bump towards the end of the year? Example: Bosa and Marshall were both 5's till they committed to OSU, while Allen and now Daniels get bumped up from 4 to 5's. Who knows? ..all that matters is what happens on the field during their time on scholarship. Part of the off season fun is trying to guess which players will be a good fit and improve the team. Never an exact science. There has always been "can't miss" players who do. But everyone is always hoping for the Clowney's of the world to commit to their favorite team.
I miss my Kate Upton Picture
Yea but their fball team is average at best.
They are putting together a damn good class, esp if the get Robert too?
Daniels is only a 4 star on Scout and Rivals. Still a good get for them but he isn't 5 star talent.
Reminds me of Kentucky under Mumme when they were pulling in all of those blue-chippers. What were they doing to get those Blue-chippers?
I cannot wait until the super conferences are created and the OSU is removed from the hypocrisy know as the NCAA. I used to live in Memphis and OLe Miss never recruited this well. They always took 3 star kids out of Memphis to make up the majority of their recruits-not national blue chippers.

We know because of history. Big time recruits don't just suddenly start going to a historically shit program like Ole miss. There has to be a cause for the effect. Big time recruits go to big time schools because they pull down the TV time, the Big Games, and they win a lot. Ole Miss is a historically shitty program who has won absolutely jack dick. But now they suddenly pull down the top talent because they won a bowl game? No.
Its the elephant in the living room. Everyone knows its there. Who's going to talk about it and who is going to keep pretending? Ole Miss may win some in the short term but when the sanctions come, it won't be worth it.
Thats what I think anyways

Bigger schools pay better too... Let's keep it 100! Don't forget that fact as well!
I mentioned Ole Miss's recruiting this year to a friend from UF (all of her family is from the SEC - UGA, AU, etc.) and the first words out of her mouth was "what?! Must have opened the checkbook"
Many of you guys are ridiculous. Does any team other than OSU over achieve success without cheating in your mind?
