Oregon? A program with no tradition whatsoever who uses their change of uniforms 4 - 5 times per year as a way to recruit shallow self absorbed non-student athletes!!! Yeah, didnt you learn a lesson of what happens when a real defense plays a gimmick offense? Remember 2010 Rose Bowl...didnt think so!
Now I wont say that Bama can beat them big, because Bama doesnt really have a great offense, but I guarantee Oregon wont move all over the field on them like the did USC last night. That was a joke last night! The PAC 12 is a joke from a defensive standpoint as is the Big 12. I mean Kenyon Barner had a 40 yd return against us too a few years back, but he is just a little dude and USC gave up over 300 yards rushing to this guy...that tells you all you need to know when the conference premier program cant defense any better than that. They are nothing!
Defense trumps offense. Did you happen to notice that Oregon gave up 51 points last night? The whole thing reminds me of a couple years ago when some were saying Oregon would hang 60 on the Buckeyes. It all starts with defense.
We will get a good idea of what that matchup would look like on Saturday, when they play TAMU.
For the record though, I think TAMU is better than Oregon (because they can actually play defense).

Bama holds a distinct advantage at the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. Oregon can't win. Bama would just wear them down.
Not when Bama gets 5 weeks to prepare for Oregon's offense they won't lose....
How's that offense looked the past few bowl games? 5 weeks off slows that offense down drastically. Plus, giving Saban that much time to prepare is the great equalizer.
