From the major college football recruiting sites we are as follows:
The 24/7 composite has us at 2 overall. They did not even have us having a 5 star kid until Bell announced yesterday. Is it just me or does 24/7 recruiting rankings seem bad? I pay for this site because of the great job Bucknuts staff does. What does everyone else feel?
yeah that seems way off on their part but I as well only concern myself with what the guys on here have to say about recruits and who where we are at with things..... They have two different rankings for us which I dont understand but dont really care either.... We be in great shape I think!
I think 5 is too low but you are going to have some differences between the various sites. The 24/7 composit is my favorite (and i believe the most accurate) team and individual ranking. Scout is a complete joke!
Scout is dead on with the #1 class but really drops the ball after that.
The 24/7 Composite is the only rankings I use.
Top-to-bottom, I like our class regardless of the ranking. We had some players get injured like JT Barrett and Michael Hill, but turn on the tape and those guys get it done. I'll take Wilson and Baugh up against any team's playmakers. Clark is a guy that came on so late he wasn't going to be reflected in the rankings, which tend to get set in stone.
Of course, some of these guys will miss. That happens to everyone, but I like what I hear about a lot of these guys being competitors (which Urban stresses). One more class will replenish the Buckeye's bear cupboard when arrived. Depth is still precarious at DB. LB, OL, and WR. However, Urban is close to turning this into a machine like Saban at Bama.
Cleveland Orchestra Baby!! World's greatest!! The Brown's wet dream is to be them. The Ohio State University-Where the Illibuck Lives!
I have always thought that RIvals has the best formula for ranking classes. Scout puts too much emphasis on quantity. 247 puts too much emphasis on the top 5 recruits in a class. ESPN puts too much emphasis on SEC.
I thought Meeechigan should be lower than 4. They were 2nd 6th 6th and 8th. I thought. they should drop to 6th the Composite. (not giving them the benefit of the doubt at 5!)
#1 or not, Scout is garbage IMO. 24/7 and Rivals are the top two...after that don't even matter
still concerned about our depth at DB and WR? I see you said "precarious" and all but I would think we added quality depth to the point where it is now more of a minor concern
