Just got Garret Sickels to commit..
Sickels is a heck of a WSLB/DE, good pick up.
I think O'Brien wakes that offense up, and PSU will be solid.
Mark this down, in 2013 UofM goes to Penn State as Purdue rolls off their schedule, Penn State will beat UofM in Happy Valley that year.

They may get even hotter by week's end with Adam Breneman. I give them a 50% chance and OSU a 50% chance so it is a dead heat the way I see it. Glad to see another BIG school besides scUM on the rise. Should make things more interesting around here.b We do have other good TE options but I hope we do get Breneman.
Really good pick up for them.
They are on a roll right now with Sickels, Hackenburg, and they should get Breneman as well. Great start from them.
It's still early, but I think the Big Ten could get 25 of the top 100 between OSU, UM, and PSU based on the early player rankings.
What are these kids thinking? The NCAA will have harsh sanctions for PSU when all is said and done!
Nobody can use the negative recruiting statement that Joe Pa will not be there for all of their 4 years. I think that hurt them over the past several years.
Good for them, we need them to be strong.
Sickels is a good pickup. They will probably finish in the Top 15 in recruiting, Ted Roof is a beast on the recruiting trail.
Still not catching the ever-contagious WHINE-FLU!!!
Just like Meyer did at Florida and he is doing now at OSU, Penn State is back in New Jersey, which has a ton of talent.
New Jersey is a well kept secret.
OSU could land DT Greg Webb, Eli Woodard, Bower and OT Lazard out of NJ.
USC use to hit NJ hard, one year they got Cushing and Jarrett.
Wisconsin days of getting to the Rose Bowl are done.

Count me as a guy that wants PSU to be strong too. With us banned from post season play next year, the Leaders half is gonna be pretty feeble. 2013 can't get here fast enough for our half of the conference. That said, you can also count me as someone that thinks PSU is in a world of trouble. NCAA or otherwise, firing folks responsible for the horrific allegations coming out of Happy Valley isn't NEARLY enough of a consequence. You will see lawsuit after lawsuit after lawsuit. That entire university is gonna suffer, and not just in the court of public opinion as it has already, but in the pocket book. That's sadly perhaps the only way to make sure appropriate actions are taken to prevent this happening again.
And I'm not convinced the NCAA will turn a blind eye. If as many people knew what was going on as we're being led to believe, and heinous criminal acts were being tolerated and a culture created, sanctions will come and come big time. I won't be shocked either way--such is the nature of the NCAA, but PSU is a looooooooong way from being out of the woods on this thing. And rightfully so. Glad some quality kids are coming their way--it's not THEIR fault, but do have to wonder for how long.
loic is on the table foe psu. there r clauses in the ncaa rules tthat appky to the situation. these kids r nuts until they know what is coming down. of course there is lots of time until feb. what type tight end might sully be? he might be better served that what an nba career might be.
And this too shall passs

What are they going to sanction them for?
PSU's problems are criminal. As bad as molesting children is, it isn't an NCAA offense.
What do you know that I don't?
"The only thing That Team Up North will be tasting this year is the salty tears of defeat" - UFM
By this logic, a school should never suspend a player for a criminal offense and they should never. This idea the "NCAA or schools" have no jurisdiction for punishment is an absurd argument.
If the NCAA cannot punish PSU, I don't see how they can punish any school for anything. It's not an either or criminal or NCAA proposition. Similar to how the NCAA should step in if a school is not adequately punishing players, they need to step in when programs are meeting the definition of lawlessness.
Cleveland Orchestra Baby!! World's greatest!! The Brown's wet dream is to be them. The Ohio State University-Where the Illibuck Lives!
Thanks for the downvotes, assclowns! We do need them to be good so when we beat them our SOS is better!!!!
Why? They are embroiled in a legal matter, not an NCAA issue.
And besides.....their fanbase and a hundred others said the same thing about OSU. Seems we wound up being Ok....the one year Bowl ban notwithstanding.
Why worry about a downvote? It just means someone disagrees with you -- or at worst, thinks you're a dick because of what you wrote.
I get upvotes -- which is nice. And I get downvotes too. And I still find a way to sleep at night and Bucknuts still takes my money once a month.
Not a big deal, dude. Not at all.
