I guess you can't miss with that many names jezz!.Well i don't agree on the lb's.Why leave with so many spots open at your position, and many of the lb's getting bigger, faster and stronger anyway,Soooo!...However! jones, powell, ball and the rest are spot on!
The brave don't live long but Cowards don't live at All!
Too quick on Ball and Crowell. Let's see if they can play. As I remember, Meyer was quite pleased with Ball before he went down.
I think you see Roberts and/or William Houston get a look at FB this spring/ fall.
Very well stated! Its sometimes funny when people on here believe that everyone outside of Buckeye should think and that 17 yro kids have the same passion for the Buckeyes. I hate when a recruit decides to go somewhere other than OSU and some in our fan base attack them personally. I wish we could get every recruit we go after, the ones who come are welcomed and the ones who don't, best of luck. There are exceptions: Kalis and recruits who bash or run their jibs!
Griffin wasn't on the original list.
Agree that there will probably be a surprise in addition to the players on the list.
Three significant factors 1) academics 2) off-field conduct 3) Mickey Marotti
Always 2 to 3 surprise transfers from kids who realize they aren't going to play much here.
I think we are going to see some linebackers leave. I think we lose 1 RB be it Dunn, Ball or Smith. Only 1 football. I think we lose Jones if he gets lapped by Barnett. I think we lose a couple offensive linemen from the previous administration who get lapped by the underclassman.
I think we lose 4 more from those groups minimum between now and the end of spring ball. It could get as high as 6.
That is what my crystal ball and tea leaves along with reading the liver I pulled out of this dead rabbit told me.
"The only thing That Team Up North will be tasting this year is the salty tears of defeat" - UFM
Yes Mickey can bring it as needed.
I think we are going to see 2-3 players from the above list leave plus 1-2 unexpected.
As Dirty Harry said "Do you feel lucky?" In other words, do you want to repeat what you went through last winter and spring to again sit the bench? Is it worth it? IMO, some won't think so, while others want that NC - at any cost.
So in nearly 3500 views Brown, Carter, Baldwin and Underwood have been the least defended of those suggested at the top.
So are they the favorites to move on, all things being equal etc?
"Playing here is the closest thing to heaven on earth..." - Brian Rolle
Adam Griffin has definitely earned his schollie. He was a major contributor on special teams, was in the 2 deep at CB, and in the limited plays from scrimmage showed to be a very good tackler, something we could have used more of last year. If something was worked out where he gave his up and Archie took one for the team [footing the bill]that would be all well and good as well. You can see by the interaction of the players how well he is liked and is the kind of player you want in your locker room.
Good days, bad days --- always a Buckeye. Time to begin the assault on the 2014 BCS National Championship
Totally agree. Griffin has earned hiS position and keeps his scholarship. He is part of unique legacy.
