Now that 12 games or in the books and you have seen how good he is what do you think? I know that Richardson is very good and with Weeden you may be able to win but RG3 is special! The Redskins also have a 6th round running back in Morris that is pretty good for a rookie so you could have had him and RG3. The Browns defense has been way better than the Redskins defense this year. With RG3 the Browns would be in the playoff hunt with the Bengals.
I will let you know in 3-5 years; hard to evaluate drafts before that. I'm also very interested to see what RGIII can do in some inclement C-Town conditions in a few weeks. Hope it is 25 with wind gusts up to 30mph.
I think the Browns are getting better and have a good future. That hurts me to say since I am a Bengals fan but I have to give the Browns credit like the Bengals I think the Browns have a lot of good young talent. Especially on defense with Jackson, Haden and the DT I think his name is Taylor. If you had RG3 I think you might be 7-5 right now like the Bengals are. I have seen some of the games that the Browns had and they have lost some close ones.
He has a cannon of an arm. So he would be able to throw in it. Plus his running ability is Manziel like in the NFL. It will be interesting when he plays in Cleveland. Playoff spot could be on the line for them. The Giants or at the Falcons and at the Ravens so they have a tough schedule left.
Next years 2nd round pick (josh Gordon) and probably the 1st as well would have been included as well. Didn't Washington give up 3 1st round picks?
RGIII is proving to be worth all those picks and more. They did get Morris this year in the draft and he was in the 6th round and he is pretty good. He is definitely not Richardson but he is a good back.
That is a good point. Especially in our division. I know both the Bengals and the Steelers have hit him hard this year. He gets to play the Ravens on Sunday.

The Browns also wouldn't have Mitchell Schwartz at RT if we had RGIII. He's turned out to be a quality starter and filled a huge hole in the line. Josh Gordon has turned out to be the top rookie receiver this year and his pick would of probably had to be included in the trade. Richardson is a stud and will have a very solid career. Weeden has been decent, he has definitely improved every game. Not too mention our first round pick for 2013. Overall, we had too many holes to fill to just get RGIII. Our recent drafts have been great and we're starting to field a football team. RGIII alone couldn't fill all the holes we had.
I agree completely. I can stomach to watch my Browns this year. They are competitive!! I was at the Philly game...they make that interception in the end zone they win the game. and there have been other games just the same.
Somebody else said let's see in 3-5 years and I agree with that. Cam Newton had a special year his rookie season but has been below average in his 2nd year. RGIII is sweet. Reminds me of Steve Young. I guess it's just a wait and see.
Cleveland Orchestra Baby!! World's greatest!! The Brown's wet dream is to be them. The Ohio State University-Where the Illibuck Lives!

Morris has actually performed better than Richardson thus far. Morris has over 1100 yards rushing and and average of 4.8 yards per run. Richardson has an average of only 3.6 yards per run and 827 total rushing yards.
