Again, if you've watched a lot of games he's played, you know that he throws the deep ball really well. I don't think you have. And if you have then we are seeing different things out there.
We will just disagree..but he is the benefactor of some go get it receivers. I'm not saying he is terrible down the field but he's not Aaron Rodgers or Bret Farve at the long ball.....I like the guy as I stated...I am still waiting for a solid point other than " apparently you haven't watched him" which is all you're saying...anyway...I'm good with what we have, we would have given up way too much.

Tough call. Richardson is pretty sick too.

Weeden is an upgrade and TRich is a stud. RG3 is special but Im fine with how it turned out. Dont forget that the Browns still wouldve had to give up another couple picks
Lol at anyone not insta wanting RGIII over Weeden/Trent/Picks
Browns fans are delusional
No doubt. You sacrifice two drafts if you can get a franchise QB. That Redskins team around him is pretty awful when you look at it.
The Browns defense is pretty impressive actually and that defense would largely be the same. There still may be holes at RB and WR, but you have your Super Bowl caliber QB. All RBs typically don't last longer than 5-6 years. If everything goes right with Weeden, that is the max amount of time they will have for him. I still have a hard time believing the Browns Weeden/Richardson combo is better than anyone in their conference.
Cleveland Orchestra Baby!! World's greatest!! The Brown's wet dream is to be them. The Ohio State University-Where the Illibuck Lives!
I don't think it's that, it's just being realistic. If the Browns were in position to pick him they absolutely would have. Since they weren't, a trade had to be made... and the Browns just couldn't afford to make that trade the way Washington could. Washington already had a much better roster. Browns would have had to sacrifice a lot of picks in the middle of a rebuild and the current regime is allergic to free agency for whatever reason. I'd obviously rather have RG3 but I love what I see in Trent Richardson so I just hope they make the best of what they have.
Very rarely is one guy worth 3-4 starters. RG3 is great but hes only the 2nd best qb in the draft. If anything, the Rams (or Colts if you like RG3 better than Luck) should feel bad.
A franchise QB isn't worth 3-4 starters? Are you fkn nuts?
We're talking draft picks not even starters.
Browns clearly blew it by not making the trade.
If anything the Rams could have gotten more
Where is there even a precedent for that? The only one that comes close in recent memory is the Manning-Rivers trade. Tell me, where else has a team given up "two drafts" for a franchise QB? Your statement also begs the question, how do we know RGIII is a franchise QB? He's not even finished with his rookie season.
Weeden. He is going to be good. Rocket Arm. Pro style. Just wish he wasn't 29.
The Father, The Son... well, it's the
The Holy Trinity... as I see it.
Long term, RG3 will take too many hits just like Vick has. Stick with Weeden. Dude will only improve.
It is laughable that people now think the skins had a good roster prior to this season.
The roster was garbage before FA and the draft added Garcon, RG3 and Morris. Even now the team really just isnt that good.
