Just read an article on Rivals and in it, it states that a receiver commitment may not have the grades to get in so they may end up offering Timmons. Any idea who it is? It may be a receiver who has not publicly announced his commitment yet.
Pure speculation, but sounds like Gibson (rumor is he needed to get academics in order to qualify).
Our quarterback does front flips, suck it.
And I shall rejoice in victory for another 365 days over That School Up North.
I am a huge fan of Corn Elder and Ryan Timmons. I think both of these guys can do some major damage with the ball in their hands. I would not be upset one bit if we landed either of them (more so Elder than Timmons).
As for Timmons offer list. I could care less who offered him. I don't need to see big time offers in order to know that the kid is a good football player. The one knock that most of seem to always bring up is his level of competition in KY, which is a good argument. But here is the kicker, who is did his team beat in the second round of the playoffs? if you listened to FRR yesterday then you know they beat Conner High School, which is home to our guy Drew Barker(Offer Him!!)! So what does that say about Barker if the level of comp is so weak?
Personally I don't think Timmons will get offered, but the staff must believe he will be a good back up plan if we have been stringing him along and staying in touch for quite sometime.
