I am using a Firefox/Google combo for browsing.
When on this site the screen freezes for several seconds, and then has a delayed response to keystrokes or the cursor, then stops again, then I get a dialog box with the message..... "Warning, unresponsive script"...and you can click "continue" as it works to resolve it, or "stop script."
This only happens to me on this site.
Any clues from anyone?
I've used firefox for over a year and never had that happen. Sounds like a possible conflict between browsers or something
The same thing happens to me. I have tried pming 247's tech support, but they haven't followed up much past the initial contact. I would suggest pming riseup (one of 247's main tech guys). Perhaps if more than one person pms him he will get on it.

Probably from an ad, which are tailored to things you've recently browsed, bought, etc.

If that is so, it would have to be an interaction with adblock - at least in my case.
My Firefox is set to wipe History, Bookmarks, and Downloads out each time I exit FF.
I also run ESET NOD 32 scans daily.
"adblock" is where?
this would've been perfect for your " throwing the computer " emoticon

Adblock is an add-on you can download from mozilla.com. It does not cime bundled.
