"Tonight, my butt's sore." - Mike Krzyzewski 11-29-11
But he most assuredly does NOT have that in his bag= bad shot. That's kind of the whole point of this thread.
Young man has to get a floater.
I'm a give him a pass because he had to be exhausted from d'ing up Burke and being the only one who looked semi comfortable handling the ball down the stretch. Matta should've found some way to get Scott minutes to spell Craft from ball handling duties in the second half & OT.
The game was in jeopardy with Smith trying to entry pass to Williams and the Craft dumping down to him in traffic on back to back possessions. You almost never see that once a game. Know your personnel! Also I don't see how DT gets no touches down the stretch.
That being said ill take the positives of Amir playing decent, Q playing decent and the fact that we look like a top 10 team in a year where the title is up for grabs...
Please tell us the first time, or the last time Craft made an offensive play at the end to win a game. It has never, ever happened.
He had Ross on the wing for a 3, and never looked at him. Simply a poor decision. Nothing more, nothing less, and no he wasn't fouled.
If you think that's a foul, Craft surely should've been whistled for a flagrant for his foul on the previous possession. We got away with that one. Can't stand to hear about officiating from those who only remember one side of a game.
Nice job on the pic. The second after the shot I was screaming for a foul and the replays confirmed it.
Bullshit... we still own those rodents, so it's all g.
The CHASE is on...
I'm "that guy" that bitches about the refs....BUT I'd say the past two Buckeye games are two of the better officiated games I've ever seen by Big Ten refs.
So burke didn't block the first shot at the FT line? Dude before you start trying to call people names or be condescending you might wanna check your facts. Watch ESPN and you'll see and hear that Burke was the guy who blocked him on the first atempt at the FT line!!!
I disagree I've seen him hit the foul line jumper on several occassions. I'm not even arguing with your point just not that emotional about it. It's on the road and against one of the better teams in the country. The first shot I really can live with, the second attempt at a shot he has to be under control and look for the kick out in my opinion.
I agree about the floater that wouldn't have been blocked from behind.
You were clearly talking about the first shot. Sorry about that. I got a little emotional after that one.
This game was not lost by "no-calls", bad calls, Craft, etc..it was lost by not defending 8 of 9 three point baskets in the 2nd half, period......we can't wait to win a game by having the refs bail us out becasue we did not get the job done.....sure he was probably fouled, and sure Craft migh have found Thomas for a Three,,,but we did not get the job done defensively on their backcourt guys in the game and overtime......hey 2 more inches back on Smith's last shot and we won it!
