Zachary Smith = Spalding Schmails.
He is the weakest link on the staff in terms of coaching and recruiting.
His twitter performance was disgusting.
He wouldn't be a member at Bushwood if not for grandpa judge Schmails.
Hey fry daddy, you are a loser and disgusting. This board would be a much better place if you were not a part of it. THAT IS A FACT. I find it ammusing that you came to this board last after getting kicked off all the other OSU boards. Aint that funny!!
Fry daddy = worst poster of all time

NOT taking potshots at spongeworthy, or anyone in this thread. Just using this thread.
We only know that 2 coaches were bantering back and forth.
We speculate... accurately I fee... that they were making a 2fold use of the word quick/Quick.
But, other than the coaches themselves, no one here knows for sure if the intent was insult, or encouragement, toward the recruit or UofLouisville.
So, if we comment, it's just opinion based on viewpoint.
Choosing a negative intent, (that they were being spiteful) we'd have to acknowledge that Tressels' coaches didn't use Social Media in a way that embarrassed OSU.
Has Urban Meyer not shown that he's every bit the micro-manager Tressel was?
If anything, Meyer is 20% more dedicated to recruiting, more involved/thorough.
There were 10 years of recruiting success under Jim Tressel, but it was the norm, as letter of intent day approached, that we we'd experience disappointment as the elites we hoped we'd get, chose different hat.
Urban may burn out. He may not. Dream jobs have a way of keeping this level of performance high.
Coach really seems happy. Seems to have found some balance, and he is delegating. I'm certainly pleased with the level of success we're seeing in 4 and 5 star talent.
I'm speculating to say that Urban probably thought it pretty creative the way they used that double pronged use of the word Quick, and it would not surprise me to hear that Meyer used this twitter exchange as a reason to make one more call to the recruit just to explain.
But wouldn't it suck to find out that this little groundswell of negativity was a reason to delegate less, work more, and enjoy his job less?
He is the master though, and he'll probably use it as a teaching moment :-)
Not a bad weekend.
Woody and Archie.................................. Alex being Alex, ....................................and Woody at Dennison
Sounds like Zach is resting on someone else's laurels! I don't think he's put any first rounders into The League.

No, Saban was the one angry at his players for throwing gatorade on the NC. What a great guy. Brian Kelly is the one whose actions led to a student being killed. Even the "holy" Coach Tressel lied to the NCAA, his players, and fans after aggrandizing himself on his character.
We have everyone interpreting his tweets, but no one actually knows what he meant. Smith goes back and forth with staff members and the only reason this was picked up on was because people were scouring for tweets to give some indication. It could easily just be a game between two coaches on staff.
I find it far more annoying how inconsistent people are with their standards of what constitutes class. If this was aimed at Quick then this is an overreaction still. Far worse things are said face-to-face about other programs.
Cleveland Orchestra Baby!! World's greatest!! The Brown's wet dream is to be them. The Ohio State University-Where the Illibuck Lives!
"according to a source familiar with the goings on behind the doors of the WHAC,there is absolutely no panic.Actually, quite the contrary."
Damn, I swear the levels of estrogen on some of these threads can be unbearable, at times. So, a 17 yr old kid decides to stay home and play for the team representing the school his parents graduated from...I can only imagine the amount of internal pressure he felt to make them and his local community happy... Time to move on to the next one, Corn Elder, come on down.......
