We may have lost the battle......but not the war.
"Playing here is the closest thing to heaven on earth..." - Brian Rolle
I'll take E and our offense over Derrick Green and cum's offense all day, everyday. Not to mention who we've got on defense the last two years.. lets just say I'm not real worried about it. They can have him.
"Slow guys don't make big plays." -Ted Ginn Jr.
Urban should offer him no and take him just cause HE CAN! I'd laugh for quite awhile.
Meeechigan was gonna land a good RB, in fact they will have 2 with DeVeon Smith. I'd rather have them get Green over Treadwell at WR!
It seems pretty clear that the Staff liked him, but not enough to wait for him till NSD or risk losing Zeke (who it seems was encouraged to commit on the premise that he would be the only back in this class).
We already have an equally highly regarded RB in Rod Smith (both are ~98 on the composite score) who barely could get any carries last year, one more year of bruising Hyde who deserves a ton of carries, one more year of Jordan Hall who will get a few carries and a lot more receptions probably, up to 3 more years of Brionte Dunn who had a 95 rating, and 4 more years of 92 rated Warren Ball.
Suffice it to say, our backfield is stacked right now, so adding another big running back who likely wouldn't see the field for 2-3 years is really not the most effective use of the scholarship when we have a need for WRs, Safeties, and OL on reduced scholarships.
I think he will be a good player, and probably would benefit most from going to Michigan because he will see the field early and often and they will feed him carries. Our team needs just don't match up right now with Green since he wanted to drag it out too late when spots are tight.
You see that sign that says 'Rib Tips'??
